an art gallery, was where he was that day, it was the famous painter Huang Renjun's art exhibit and mark was giving his all out support.

"congrats bro!" he formally shakes renjun's hand as they were in a public event and mark was the representative of the Lee family, one of the most elite families in South Korea.

they walked around the exhibit, admiring each piece that was displayed peacefully, then a few more people came and wanted to talk to the artist himself, leaving mark to excuse himself.

mark walks up to the second floor where there was less of a crown to unwind and take a breath, surely talking to a bunch of people and socializing was a tiring thing, especially for an introvert like him.

his eyes caught sight of a girl wearing a red dress, tight around her waist area, modest in the front, party in the back.

but that wasn't important, what caught his sight was the gun hanging from her mid thigh and a small knife hidden under the sleeve of her arm.

she was admiring the art (or atleast pretending to be) and slowly following a man who was dressed in an all black suit.

she follows the man quietly until they reached a secluded room, mark following from behind, curious of the situation.

mark had his eyes on her, following her every move and she knew, of course she knew, mark was obvious.

the girl in red pretended to use a mirror to see who was following her from behind, her eyes caught sight of four men dressed in black behind a curious mark who wasn't looking for any harm.

"DOWN!" a girl in red shouts as she saw what was to come and counters mark's attacker, he was sliced slightly by the nape of his neck. she physically fights and stabs them all by their vital parts, killing them.

mark was overwhelmed, his neck was bleeding and he was paralyzed. he watched the girl as she punched each one with all her might and not even breaking a sweat

the girl in red finishes up, not forgetting to leave a handkerchief for mark's bleeding neck and sends a salute signal to him with a wink before she jumped out of the window, escaping the facility with the file she was there for.

"wait!" mark finally processed what just happened when she was out the window

——

days after, mark's father had assigned him to attend a social gathering, one to celebrate the success of these ever growing businesses, the lee family included.

he faced the mirror, tying his necktie and observing his appearance. it was like any other event for him, socializing, drinking, sealing deals.

he had an advantage and it was the fact that he could easily persuade just about anyone with his speech and intelligence.

there he was off, all he thought of that night was "i'll just get this over with" but little did he know, a thrilling night was about to commence.

he entered the huge hall, bright walls and formal people scattered around, the place looked luxurious for normal people, but mediocre for someone like mark, he had probably seen so much better.

he greeted some people and went to search for his favorite cousin, Lee Haechan.

"couz hi!" haechan greets with a grin and embraces mark, he was accompanied by Park Jae Hee, heiress of Park Technologies, one of the leading and advanced tech companies around the globe.
