"As you may know, Punn had resigned as the Head Student."

The class started with that announcement. The memory of the event that took place the previous night flashed once again to those who were involved. It was still quite fresh in their memory how Punn almost slit his own throat.

Claire looked over at her boyfriend and sighed.

Shaking her head, Aria looked back in front after looking at Punn.

"It is necessary for me to select the new Head Student. We've made the selection based on the list submitted earlier. The new Head Student is... Wave."

Her friend in a red jacket was standing in front, beside their teacher, busy with his iPad. Everyone watched him tap on it in silence, waiting for his word.

"Wave, do you want to say something to your friends?" Mr Pom asked when everyone else's stares and silence didn't budge him.

He set down his iPad, breathing out, and looked at the rest of the class.

"As the new Head Student, there's something I've always wanted to do. I want to see us improved."

His announcement caused Claire to make a face.

"I want to see everyone develop to their full potential."

"Is this really him?" She heard Ohm whisper on her back.

"First, we need to tie some loose ends. For example, we need to deal with those who ditch the class often," he added, and pointed at Mon's seat just by looking.

Everyone turned their heads in the direction.

"All right, it is him," Ohm answered his own question as he leaned to Pang, which Aria didn't fail to hear.

"Uh-huh," was what Mr Pom could answer as he processed what he said.

"And those who haven't yet to discover their potential," Wave added, and pointed at Pang and the empty seat beside him, which belonged to Korn. He was still absent due to what Punn did to him. He took quite the hit.

Wave put his hand back in his pocket. "To give a to nudge them to study harder, I want those who haven't discovered their potential to maintain the classroom and clean the room every day until they find their potential," he said while looking directly at Pang.

"Son of a gun..." She heard Pang whisper behind her.

"Why are you doing this?" Mr Pom asked.

"To motivate them. If they don't want to be on the cleaning duty, they should focus more on finding their potential. Who knows? They may find out their potential is cleaning. Or they may have already known that they don't have any potential."

Knowing what he was implying, Aria whispered. "Wave!"

But the young man just looked at her, raising his brow as if asking if he did or said something wrong.

She sighed and shook her head.

"This will be a wake-up call for them to realize that they don't belong here and resign from the program."

Even Mr Pom could sense that Wave was referring to Pang based on his meaningful gaze at him. But finding no loophole, he just nodded and said, "If you think this will help your friends develop their potentials, we can give it a try." He completely ignored Wave's last few words.

Pang and Ohm looked at each other in disbelief. Now that Mr Pom allowed Wave's suggestion, they couldn't oppose it anymore.

"What the heck?" Ohm complained.
