The ride in the carriage went very quickly by the time I knew it we were already at the harbor. On the way there I had devised a plan. As soon as I got on the ship I started the first phase. I walked over to the captain.

"Sir I don't feel too well. I feel like my insides are churning and that I might throw up." The captain took a step away from me as a precaution in case I did.

"That's all right lad it's probably just sea sickness."He said patting me on the back. "But still just in case let's take you to your cabin and get you some medicine." He led me down stairs and called for someone to bring me some medicine.

I layed on my bed acting as though I was sick. The servant brought in the medicine and left it on the table. I reached for it as though I was going to take it and then the servant left. I then jumped off my bed and looked around and saw exactly what I wanted to see, a porthole. I opened it and felt the salt filled air sting my face. I then wiggled out of it and onto the dock. I walked briskly away hoping no one would see me and with that I kept my final promise to my mother and father.
