~Jewel's POV~

I woke up today in Chibs arms, ever since my fight with Angel, this is where I've been and if I'm being honest I think I'm falling for Chibs. The bad side to this is that he's the president and a lot of danger comes with being the president's old lady. I don't even know if he feels the same way about me, he could just be being nice, letting me stay here and lay with him because he thinks I'm lonely or that I miss Angel. The truth is I don't miss Angel, that's not why I stay with Chibs, the truth is I don't know why I stay with Chibs, I guess it's hard for me to be alone now. I was pulled out of my thoughts by Chibs pulling me tighter into his chest.

"Stay with me today."

I looked at him.

"Give me a reason to stay."

He looked at me for a moment before he rolled over hovering above me, He looked into my brown eyes.

"You really want me to?"

I nodded my head and he connected his lips to mine, my hands tangled in his peppered hair. I felt his tongue glide across my bottom lip asking for entrance, I granted him access, and our tongues danced together until we parted. Our breaths were heavy as they mixed together, I laid there with him still hovering above me, he moved a stray strand of hair from my face before he spoke.

"Is that enough of a reason?"

I smirked at him before shaking my head, he smirked back and I knew that he understood what I meant. He kissed me again and I lifted my leg to his side, flipping us over, so I was above him, we stayed connected until I pulled away.

"Alright, I'll stay but we're gonna talk and you're gonna answer my questions alright?"

He nodded his head before we got out of bed, I went to the guest room to change my clothes. I looked through my bag until I found a pair of light wash high waisted shorts, a white button up crop top that basically only covers my chest, a off white cover up, and a pair of tan wedges. I changed my clothes before doing my hair and putting on a layer of black eye liner, some mascara and dark burgundy lipstick. When I was dressed I walked out of the guest room and into the living room sitting on the couch waiting for Chibs to hurry his scottish ass up. I got tired of sitting around, I got off the couch and went to the kitchen for coffee. I pulled a cup down and before I could move hands were placed on either side of my body and kisses were placed up and down my neck, I turned around in his arms.

"We are not kissing or anything until I get my answers, so sit your scottish ass down and I'll start asking the questions."

"Okay fine, but it's gonna be hard for me to concentrate when you look like that."

His eyes traveled down my body and I looked at him snapping my fingers in front of his face.

"Eyes up here."

He looked at my face before taking a seat.

"Alright, why did you start acting different towards me when Angel and I got together?"

"Pass."

"No, no pass, answer the fucking question."

He looked at me shaking his head.

"If I answer, it'll change everything between you and I, Jewel I can't."

"Then I'm gone."

I set down my cup and started walking towards the door only to be spun around and have Chibs lips connect with mine. I couldn't help but let my hands tangle in his hair as I was pinned to the wall, his hands traveled to the back of my thighs lifting me from the ground. My legs wrapped around his waist as we stayed there and let our lips part, we looked into each other eyes.
