The Night After.

July 15th, 1950. It was soon midnight, they had finished roller skating, but they were dancing around in the empty street. They danced, and laughed, and learned a bit more about each other. Rosemary learned about his business ideas with his friend Felix, and Jack learned that Rosemary has always wanted to become a mother, and have a lovely family. And, they both went to the same college!

"Jack, what time is it?" Jack checked his watch, "12:26, why?" Rosemary sighed and laughed, "Oh, goodness! I was having so much fun I forgot to keep track of the time, do you mind..um..walking me home?" She fluttered her eyelashes and smiled at him. Jack smiled, he knew he couldn't say no to her. "Of course." She wrapped her hands around his arm, and they walked to Rosemary's house.

Once they got there, she stood in front of the front door, and smiled. "I had a lovely time with you, Jack!" Jack blushed, "I-I did too..I'll see you at school, all right?" Rosemary nodded, and leaned in. She kissed Jack, and walked inside. She stood across her door inside, and giggled. Jack stood there, blushing. He was shocked, his first kiss.

July 15, 1950. Later the next morning, Jack sat in class and told Felix everything, "And then, she kissed me!" Felix smirked, "I'm so happy for you Jack, I really am. What school does she go to?" "She actually goes here, we might see her!" A bit after he had said that, a woman walked in the room. She had a sweater on that showed her shoulders, and tight jeans. She looked beautiful, as always and looked at Jack.

She waved and smiled. Jack blushed, and waved back. She sat in the back of the class, and did her work. "Is that her?" Said Felix. Jack nodded, "Yea, her names Rosemary." Jack turned around and opened his book. He couldn't even think straight, he kept writing R+J in hearts all over his paper. Felix noticed, and laughed, "Jack, focus!" Jack looked up and sighed, "Heh..sorry.." And tried to focus on the assigned work.

Later, school was over. Rosemary walked up to Felix and Jack and she smiled, "Hi Jack! Who's this?"she looked at Felix. Felix smiled and shook her hand, "My names Felix, it's a pleasure to meet you, Rosemary." Rosemary shook his hand back. Jack looked at Rosemary and blushed, "Do you wanna go to the diner together? All three of us!" Felix nodded, and so did Rosemary.
