Sophie Walten.

That was who she was. She was a Walten. It had been years since the deaths of her siblings and mother, and the missing case of Jack Walten. But she never knew, she had no idea about the truth, what really happened to her mother, her siblings, or her father.

At 22, she rubbed her eyes, and sighed. She stood up, her feet touching the floor. The comforter also touching the floor half way. She walked to the bathroom, god my hairs a mess, she thought to herself.

She brushed her hair, her teeth, and then gargled some mouth wash. Then she opened the mirror cabinet and sighed once again.

These god damn pills, what? Do I have to take these for the rest of my life?

She never got this annoyed with taking pills, even though she hated taking them. As she picked them up and held them in her hand, she got flashbacks on that man.

That man, him. He made her take those.

She sighed, took one and swallowed it down. She shouldn't have been thinking of uncle Felix like that, he was looking out for her. She needed these pills. She took a cup and filled the cup with a little bit of water from the tap, and swallowed the water down along with the pill. Did Jenny get up already? Probably, that's a stupid question Soph, she works here you dumbass.

She splashed her face with water, what was wrong with her today? She soon got dressed, she put her jeans on, a Iron Maiden shirt, and zipped up her iconic blue and white jacket. She loved this jacket, it make her feel so Nice about herself. She didn't know why she loved it so much. Maybe the oversized bagginess of it, maybe the colors fit her well, but it didn't matter. She just knew she loved this jacket.

But then again,

why?

She went downstairs, she heard some commotion passing every door in the hotel she lived at with her girlfriend, Jenny. Jenny worked almost all of the jobs, she helped repair somethings, she knew some minor things about plumbing so she did that, she did room service, etc. Jenny and Sophie had met in high school, they were great friends and stuck around each other for ever.

Jenny never questioned Sophie about her parents, every time she came over to Sophie's "house" Felix would be there, but she never questioned Sophie so she never made Sophie uncomfortable. She loved Sophie dearly, and didn't wanna hurt her.

"Oh, hey Soph! How'd you sleep?" It was Jenny, her beautiful smile and her fuzzy, long and gorgeous ginger hair. She was outside in front of the hotel, fixing her bike tires. It was early spring, a little cold, and a little warm.

"Hi, I slept fine, how's your bike?" She leaned against the bricked wall, watching her pump the tire. "It's fine right now, it was really empty on gas so I figured I'd load it. Oh! I also rented us this movie I thought we could watch tonight. It's a bit old but whatever. I left it in the room for us, okay?"

Sophie smiled, and nodded. "I might visit Felix today." Jenny looked up, "Oh, alrighty..anddd.."

"Finished!" Jenny stood back, admiring her work. "it's just a pumped tire dumbass." Sophie laughed, the smallest things made Jenny so happy. "Whatever, this took a lot of time y'know. Tsh." Jenny rolled her eyes, jokingly. They both laughed, and went inside. Jenny's boss was at the front desk, and some other room service workers were going to rooms with breakfast trays and fresh sheets.

Sophie ate some breakfast while Jenny was on her break. She didn't eat much, just some cereal and orange juice. Later after, Sophie grabbed her little purse, inside there was; chapstick, her wallet, a mini hairbrush, sanitizer, etc. "Cya later Jen!" She kissed Jenny's cheek before Jenny went upstairs to do some plumbing work in a guests bedroom, "Oh, you're leaving now?" Jenny frowned, and stopped herself. "yea, wanna get there early. He likes to drink so I wanna get there before he can. Plus I haven't seen him in a while, sure he misses me." She smiled, "I love ya!"

"love you too." Jenny kissed Sophie, and like that, Sophie was on her way to Felix's house.
