New People.

July 14th, 1950. One afternoon, two college students named Jack and Felix walked into a diner. They sat down at a booth, and waited for their waitress.

Jack looked at Felix and looked back at the menu, "What are ya gonna get, Felix?" Felix looked at the menu and sighed. "Mm..I'm not sure, maybe a milkshake? Yeah, a chocolate milkshake. How about you?" Jack looked up from his menu and looked at Felix, "Probably a strawberry milkshake. Hey, wanna share fries?" "Yeah, sure."

The waitress eventually came over to them and wrote down their orders, "Comin' right up suga!" Jack smiled and looked around the diner, he looked around until he saw her.

He froze and saw the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, her smile, oh her smile looked so lovely. Her hair was short, and it covered her ears and forehead. She had a lovely dress on that flowed just below her ankles, and it was pink. She was sipping a coca cola, and looking at the menu. Jack was caught in a trance, and he couldn't take his eyes off her. Felix noticed, and shook his hand in front of jacks face.

"Jack? Are you listening? Come on you're milkshakes gonna get warm!" Jack blinked, and looked at Felix, "O-Oh! Sorry..I was just..never mind. What were you saying?"

Felix sighed and ate a french fry, "I was talking about the business, once we get out of college we should start something together, just me and you, ya'know?" Jack nodded and sipped his milkshake.

Jack looked back up at the woman while Felix was still rambling on about the business, and smiled, "Isn't she beautiful?" Felix stopped talking and looked at Jacks eyes. Felix followed Jack's eyes, and looked at the woman. "Yes, I suppose she is pretty." Felix looked back at Jack, "Why don't you go talk to her?" Jack shot up and looked at Felix, "I-I can't do that, she'd think I'm a creep!" Felix chuckled, "Just ask her out, it'll be alright." Jack sighed and got up.

"You're right, okay, I'm goin' in!"
