the distinguished 50's love (TWF ROSEMARY AND JACK WALTEN STORY)

Meeting.

July 14th, 1950. Jack confidently walked up to the woman, but as soon as he faced her, he became less confident.

"H-Hello! Uhm..I hope I'm not bothering you..but uh..you look lovely, and I was wondering.." Jack rubbed the back of his neck, and the woman looked up at him, "Yes?" Jack smiled, "Would you like to go roller skating tonight with me and some..friends?" Jack lied, there were no friends, he was just took chicken to ask her out. The woman smiled, "Roller skating? Oh, I'd love to! That would be so nice, what time?" Jack grew more confident, he was shocked she had said yes. "Uhm..is 9:00 alright for you?" The woman giggled, "Oh yes that's perfect!" She fluttered her eyelashes. Jack blushed, "A-Alright, I'll see you then..um.." The woman looked up at him again, "Rosemary." He smiled, "I'll see you then, rosemary."

He walked away and sat back with Felix. "So, how'd it go? Did she say yes?" Jack was so excited, "Felix, she did say yes, she did! We're going rollerskating tonight at 9! This is my first ever date, this is so exciting!" Felix smiled and ate another french fry, "I knew ya should've asked her out!" "Yes, thank you so much Felix, you're the best!"

Rosemary looked down at the table and thought to herself, he called me lovely, he thinks I'm..lovely? She blushed, and sipped her cola. A little later, Rosemary had left the diner to get ready for her date with Jack. Jack drove with Felix to Jack's house, and Felix helped Jack get ready. "Oh my goodness, Felix I'm so nervous! What if I make a fool of myself!" Felix sighed, "Stop doubting yourself Jack, you're a fine man and I'm sure she'll be so happy to go out with you."

Later on, it was 8:46. Jack walked to the rollerskating place and waited for Rosemary. He tapped his foot, and looked around nervously.

Rosemary soon arrived at 8:57. She looked even more beautiful. Her hair was curled, and her bangs looked perfect. She wore a lovely, yellow dress that was down to her ankles, and white flats.

Jack blushed, "Oh..Rosemary you look beautiful..!" Rosemary smiled, "Thank you!" She looked around, "Where are the rest of your friends?" Jack laughed nervously and rubbed the back of his neck, "Hahah..they couldn't make it..so it's just me and you!" Rosemary blushed, "Lovely! Lets go!" She grabbed his hand, and got roller skates for both of them.

Rosemary struggled to tie her roller skate strings, and Jack smiled. He sat her down and he sat down on one knee. He lifted her left and tied the roller skates for her, and she blushed. "T-Thank you!" She giggled. "No problem." He grabbed her hand, and started skating. Jack had some trouble, but Rosemary helped. They shortly slowed down while skating, and Rosemary looked at him, "I never got your name." "My name's Jack, Jack walten." Rosemary smiled, "Walten..I like that." She held his hand as they skated.

"Your smiles beautiful, Mary." She blushed, people have called her Mary before, but this time it felt different, she liked when he said it, and she liked the fact he thought she was beautiful. "Thank you.." She kissed his cheek, and he blushed.
