Hurricanes were always Elliotts biggest fear, well any storm was, the roaring rain, the howling thunder, it scared her all, especially when it was at night, JJ was always there for her during storms, comforting her when she needed it

so she did stay at the chateau for the night, JJ stayed inside with her while John B and pope were out surfing, the brunette warned her before the two left there, him just begging her not to tell JJ or kie

the girl sat in the bathroom with her hands covering her ears, listening to JJ's whispers of telling her she's ok, that whole night she sat in the bathroom of her best friends home, with her brother who whispered to her telling her she's ok, covering her ears with her eyes closed as she tried to block out everything

that morning she rushed around the chateau to get ready for work, knowing that the cameron's needed more people to help clean up around the yard

"jesus christ eli, slow down a bit" John B chuckled as he watched the girl rush around the living room for her shoes

"JB if i'm even 2 minutes late Ward will kick my ass" she jumped around trying to put on her sneakers, rushing to the door, "you need a ride?" John B asked, ready to grab the twinkies car keys

"nope i got JJ's bike, easier" she shrugged, "tell JJ i'll be home later, oh and that i better not hear him causing trouble" she pointed at John B who nodded at her comment

"yes ma'am" he yelled as he rolled his eyes and headed to the guest room to wake his best friend up

Elliott rushed to put on her brothers helmet, trying to speed it up as much as she could, she sped down the roads, branches lined the sides of the roads, trees down in the woods, as she headed into figure eight she noticed how cleaned it already looked, people rushed around everywhere

she pulled into the cameron's yard, halting to a stop as she watched Ward walk around with who looked like Lana Grubbs, she saw sarah running around swatting at the seagulls, wheezie trying hard to get wifi next to the pool

what she failed to notice was the oldest cameron sibling on the highest balcony, he stopped looking at his phone at the sound of the girls bike, the boy made his way to the edge of the balcony, leaning on it to watch the girl, he took of his sunglasses, setting them on his head

"hello maybank" he yelled, a smirk she couldn't see from down there plastered on his lips

"Rafe cameron what a delight to see you" Elliott replied, sarcasm laced in her voice, "always a delight to see you too maybank" he told her

"survived another hurricane i see, thought your house would have been torn up by now, bringing you with it" rafe smirked, "sounds like a branch got shoved up your ass last night rafe" Elliott yelled, leaning on the bike

"shouldn't you be hard at work by now?" rafe looked around, noticing his father searching for someone, "rafe you bitch, you made me late" she groaned and ran towards the back, flipping the boy off in the process

"nice to see you too maybank" the cameron boy chuckled and placed the sunglasses back on his nose, settling back into the chair

"i'm so sorry i'm late sir" eli huffed, placing her hands on her knees to regain her breath

"where were you maybank, i needed you to clean up the dock" Ward crossed his arms, waiting for her answer, "i got caught up in something at home"

"well next time be here right on time or your fired, now go clean up the dock" Ward quickly walked away, yelling for rafe

"well this will be an interesting day" Elliott passed by sarah who glared at her in disgust, "keep walking pogue"

Elliott just laughed, everyone knew that the two didn't like each other since sarah was jealous that eli was known as the hotter girl on the island, more people probably knew the maybank girl more than the cameron, even if sarah was a kook

"hello sister" she heard her younger brother yelled as the HMS pogue passed by tannyhill

"hello my dear friends, what are you guys doing here" she asked, jealous all her friends were enjoying themselves on the boat while she was stuck cleaning up branches

"just passing by, had to pick up kie, thought we would stop by" pope smiled at her, "thanks for thinking about me pope, make sure JJ doesn't do anything stupid, i don't want to be bailing him out of jail anytime soon" Eli raised an eyebrow at pope

the dark skinned boy saluted, "got it, see you later eli" pope smiled, "bye guys" the blonde girl yelled at her 3 best friends and brother

"elliott get back to work" Ward yelled, watching the girl standing still, she quickly nodded and went back to picking up the lose leaves around the dock
