Hey beautiful, hope you slept well.. I was wondering if you wanted me to take you to school today or do you wanna just meet at school?

I messaged Max as I ate my cereal, and drank my coffee, I saw Jessie sit next to me. He's never been a morning person.

"Morning Angel" he mumbled yawning, making me chuckle.

"Morning Jess" I checked my phone to see Max had replied

I chuckled at Max's message looking at Jessie amused him, he looks at me weirdly

"Nothing, just Max roasting your ass" I quickly replied noticing the time.

He "pms" a lot, but ignore him. Don't let him get to you. He's just stressing cuz he's gonna be beta soon. I'll see you at school xxx.

I put my dishes in the sink as Jessie did as well grabbing my bag and my BMW keys. "Later Mom, Momma" I called out. I heard Jessie say bye to them as well, walking over to my car, unlocking my car, getting in and starting it up, connecting my phone up to the Bluetooth and playing a random song on my Spotify playlist (song in the media.) setting off to school, seating Wes, in his jocks, putting his clothes in his bag, shifting into wolf form grabbing his bag in his mouth and my guess is he's going to Max's to go to school with him.

'I will be Angelo. See ya' with that he was off into the forest and myself and Jessie drove down the driveway to the street, heading towards school.

[At school]

Jessie and I got to school maybe 15 minutes earlier so we are just chilling in my car listening to my music.

"Hey Angelo, who's truck is that?" Jessie looks out the window as a blue vinyl wrapped GMC truck park next to us. "Oh it's Max, and the others" he answered his own question, getting out of my car watching Max open the driver door as it swung over the top of my car with ease, watching Jessie look surprised.

"Holy shit Max.. that's awesome" I said to Max as I watched him drop down, letting Jessie and the others wait by the front of our cars and I grab Max and pull him into a kiss, expecting him to push me away, I braced for him to push me away but instead I could feel myself smile, suddenly I felt him pull away watching him before I see the darker side of him come out as he growls sounding almost feral towards everyone watching, I let him go a little 'That's sexy, his wolf is sexy and so is he' Skye said making me bite my lip a little.

"Stop fucking staring, it's not a fucking live porno" Max and his wolf growled, I quickly grab him and push him back against my car, seeing his eyes are a mix of green and purple, leaning down to kiss him again, hoping this is gonna help calm him down, feeling him wrapping his arms around my neck, rubbing his hips with my thumbs gently, feeling him pull away and seeing his eyes are now back to normal. I smile softly.

"There we go. Back to the beautiful green eyes" i said smiling watching him look around to see everyone still staring, I heard Max whisper softly, standing up properly avoiding the staring.

"Tell them to fuck off, Ange.. can't stand being stared at" I looked at everyone staring and growled viciously, holding Max closely. Everyone scatters and goes back to what they are doing, intertwining my fingers with Max's, sitting him on the trunk of my car, I grab his truck keys from his pocket.

"Hayden" I called Hayden's name and he turned to look at me.

"Yeah Angel?" He replied, I didn't care if he called me Angel, chucking him Max's keys.

"He's not staying here I'm taking him for the day, let your Alphas know so they don't freak out" I turned back to Max "Baby boy?" He looked at me a little, seeing his eyes empty and distant, kissing his forehead softly. "We aren't staying here I'm gonna take you away from here and we can go out for the day, your brothers are gonna be informed and Hayden's gonna drive your truck home" I look at Jessie. "Jess. Keep Wes under control and let coach know I'm skipping practice to help my mate and this if he complains he can say it to my face"

"Sir yes sir" he said smirking.

"Enjoy your day man" I smile softly, getting Max off the back of my car and getting him into my car, buckling him, walking to the driver's side of my car and getting in, turning my car on and driving away from the school.

I parked up at the beach, turning my car off and getting out, hearing Max also unbuckle himself and get out of the car. I lean against the front of my car and Max places himself in front of me, wrapping my arms around him holding him close listening to the sound of the waves crashing against the sand.

"I'm sorry for being a pain" I heard Max say softly.

"Maxwell, you are not a pain. Your my mate and your comfort and safety is the thing I want the most but I want you to feel loved and know that I'm here for you. You're my baby boy and no matter how much you try and pretend you're a big bad Alpha. You're my soft little mate, and I don't want you to feel like you need to fight all your battles alone" I kiss his cheek softly "Am I alright to ask what causes you to lash out like that? You don't have to if you don't want to" I watched him as he played with my fingers.

"It happened when I was a little boy.. before the treaty/alliance between our packs.." I kisses his head softly trying to encourage him. "I use to have a twin sister.." I could hear the pain in his voice.

"Oh I'm so sorry baby, you don't have to continue if it's too much" he shakes his head.

"I want to.. Madeline and I we use to play fight in wolf form.. we were always careful. ALWAYS.. but one day I wasn't.. we were play fighting and the pack was watching the WHOLE pack, as Maddy and I played around, I grabbed her neck and bit down but I bit down too hard and my teeth pierced a corroded artery.. She bled out and the whole pack watched me as I killed my own sister" Max finally broke down crying, turning to face me, crying into my chest, holding him close to me, just letting him cry.

"Oh baby boy" I kissed his head.

"They watched me!.. I murdered my own sister and they fucking stood there!" he roared out. I think the whole town could feel his pain. "I should have listened to Dad.. he told Maddy and I to be careful.." I rocked side to side gently.

"I'm sorry I made you recount that" I whispered softly.

"I hate being the way I am. I want to be me. I'm not a bad boy, I want to be clingy, annoying, shy, quiet.. I want to be seen as the guy that had bad shit happen to him and he didn't let that change him.. but no I'm a total tool and I get in trouble for every little thing.. I just want Max Richman.. the child to Adrian and Marcus Richman.. the third born in line to alpha bloodline.. but no I'm Max, the bad boy, the boy who drinks, smokes, parties and breaks hearts.. I hate all of it. I just want to be me, Max.. the unfortunately fortunate boy to be stuck mated to Angelo Hades the Alpha of the Hades pack" I chuckled softly holding Max close.

"I can take you shopping and we can buy you some different clothes so you can be my baby boy" I offered the cute boy cuddling into me.
