***Lisa's POV***

When we finished our conversation, we went to the hospital to tell Calvin.

When we arrived, we went straight to his room.

"Hey munchkins. What's wrong? Why are there tears?!" He asked worriedly.

"We know." I said. He perked up. Calvin knew exactly what I meant. He knew this whole time.

"I'm sorry guys. We just didn't want you guys to get hurt. We loved you too much."

"Then why did Mom and Dad. Leave us when we found out?" Josh asked. Calvin just sighed out of frustration, wincing in the process because of his ribs.

"Because they aren't the best parents." He said under his breath. "I'm really sorry though. This doesn't change anything, right? You guys are still my munchkins? Right?" He asked, full of hope.

"Of course." Josh and I said and ran over to him to give him a hug.

"I love you two. You know that?" We nodded with smiles on our faces.

"We love you too." I said.

"Get better soon. We'll come back tomorrow."

"Okay. Have a safe trip home. And don't worry about this stuff. Okay? Being adopted doesn't change who you are." Calvin's words stuck with me.

Of course being adopted changed you. Right? I mean, your "parents" aren't really your parents. Your "siblings" aren't really your siblings. Your "last name" isn't really your last name. How can I not change when I'm adopted?

My negative thoughts increased when I got home and saw "mom" and "dad's" limo was gone. Along with them and their suitcases.

As soon as we got into the house, I ran upstairs and locked myself in my room. I crawled under my covers and cried my eyes out.

Today has been so stressful. The worst part is I don't have Nathan with me.

***Nathan's POV***

The boys have been trying to get me out of my room all night, but I want none of it.

I just stayed in my room and tried to go to sleep, but my pillow was really lumpy and uncomfortable. No matter how much I rolled around, I couldn't get comfortable.

I reached under the pillow and pulled out... Oh boy.

***Lisa's POV***

"TICKEY!!!!" I shouted in panic as I ran downstairs.

"What?!?" He replied, coming out of the kitchen.

"I CAN'T FIND NASH!!!" I panicked.

"Oh my- REALLY??? I thought you got hurt! You're too much." He said with a sigh. He was about to continue, but was interrupted by the phone ringing.

"Hello?" He asks as he picked it up. "Mhm... Yep.... Definitely... Like mortified.... Okay. Thanks." And he hung up.

"Who was that?" I asked.

"Nathan. Turns out he found Nash under his pillow. He said he'll send it here." He answered and walked out. I grumbled and folded my arms, stomping back to my room.

If Nash isn't here, then how am I going to sleep?!

*next morning*

All night... All night. I stayed up all night. I couldn't sleep. I need Nash. He is the only one who can lull me to sleep.

"Lisa?" Tickey asked as he came into my room.

"Hmm." I hummed out of exhaustion.

"Today you have that scholarship test for that school Mom and Dad want you to get in to." He said.

"Ugggghhhh!!!" I yelled into my pillow.

"Hey. None of that attitude missy. Go take a shower and be ready by 8:00." He said and left my room. Ugh. I don't want to go, but I get out of my bed and take a shower.

I already have a feeling that today is going to be long.

***Nathan's POV***

After mailing Nash to America, I came home to find everyone jamming out to my song, All Time Low.

I was frozen.

"Nathan!! This song is great!" Tom exclaimed.

"I love this!!" Jay yelled out.

"Come dance with us Nath!!" Jayne called out to me. I didn't budge.

I can't believe she did this. I wrote those songs in confidence, taking time to perfect them. It's still not perfected.

She said I could show the boys these songs when I'm ready. Just a little hint, I'm not ready. I can't believe Jayne took these from me.

"Jayne, I didn't want to show anyone these songs yet! I wasn't ready!" I said, turning off the music.

"But they're so good!" She explained.

"Yeah!" The boys agreed.

"But, I don't feel comfortable sharing them." I said, feeling my cheeks fill with heat.

"Look Nath. No matter what you think, this song is brilliant. It would be a waste to not show the world your songs." Jayne explained.

"Yeah." The boys agreed. I had to think. Did I really want to show the world this song?

"Fine." I said.
