*two months later*

**Lisa's POV***

I haven't seen Nathan for two months. Josh and I miss him a lot. We always wonder when we'll see him again.

Besides missing Nathan, Josh and I have been pretty good. I mean, we talk about our birth parents sometimes, and we cope.

We have been going to an ordinary public school... So does Ashley. She's been such an irritant.

Anyway, remember that test Josh and I had two months ago? Well, apparently, the school is having a little banquet in a week to celebrate people who have gotten scholarships.

Josh and I received the letters for the banquet, as well as Ashley.

If we get into this school with a scholarship, our lives would be "perfect" our "parents" keep saying.

I went back to Janine's and worked on my dancing 24/7. I'd say I'm better than I've ever been. We haven't been to a competition yet, because she said that I should improve first, but I did have an audition last week. Hopefully I get accepted into the dance school.

So, back to present, Josh and I are walking back home from school. It's a nice day, so Josh and I decided to call Tickey and tell him we're going to the park before we come home.

He said okay, and we quickly went to sit on the swings at the playground.

We sat there and swung, enjoying the day.

The peace was interrupted by someone's hands grabbing my waist. I was spooked, knowing it wasn't Josh.

"AAAAAHHHHHH!!! MHHHHHMM!" I screamed, but hummed out the rest, for the person's hand went over my mouth. I instantly bit the hand.

"OOOWWWWW!!!!!! Dammit Lisa!!!" I instantly perked up. That voice. That familiar voice. I turned around to face the person.

"NATHAN!!!!!!" I screamed and jumped in his arms.

"Hey Tink!" He said joyously, holding me tight in a hug.

"What are you doing here?!" I asked.

"A little birdie told me that you two have a little banquet coming up." He teased.

"You came for us?" I asked, shocked he'd come for that.

"Of course! I love you guys." He said, hugging both Josh and I. "How about we head back to your house. It's supposed to rain soon."

"Okay." Josh said.

"Can you carry my backpack?" I whined, using my puppy eyes.

"Nooooo." He whinned back.

"But it's heeeaaaavvvvyyyyy."

"But it's piiiinnnnkkkk!!!"

"Pleeeeeaaaaaaaassssseeeee!!!!" I said with extra puppy eyes.

"Uugggggghhhh!!! Fine." He grumbled, picking up my pink backpack and putting it on.

"Thank you!" I said with a smile.

"Yeah, yeah. Let's go guys." We started walking home.

"You know, even though it's pink, I look hot with this backpack." Nathan said, striking a pose. Josh and I laughed.

"How right you are." Josh said.

We arrived home within five minutes. I opened the door with my key and we all entered.

"Tickey! We brought a wild animal home!" I shouted out, laughing at Nathan's reaction to the 'wild animal' part.

"Can we keep it?" Josh shouted, making Nathan cross his arms in protest.
