The next morning at the diner, Emma knocked on the door and Granny let her in, inside the diner were Mary Margaret, David, Captain Hook, Regina, Ruby, Blaze, Grace, Jefferson and Rose Red.
"If you want privacy, talk fast. We open in 20 and no one gets between Leroy and his bacon," Granny said.
"Is there any sign of our quarry?" Captain Hook asked.
"I went all over that farmhouse and the land around it. Nothing," Emma said.
"Well, now that the sun's up, we should hit every place Gold might go his house, shop, his cabin," David said.
"Because dead men love vacation homes," Emma looked at Rose Red, "Sorry," Emma said.
"Yeah," Rose Red took out a set of keys, "The house spare and cabin spare," Rose Red looked at them, "I've already been there... But you're happy to look again," Rose Red said and placed them on a table.
"But can someone explain to me how this is even possible?" Mary Margaret asked.
"Yeah, I like that explanation too... We all saw Gold, he..." Giselle said.
"Disappeared into nothingness, we know," Rose Red said.
"I might have an inkling. When we went back to the Enchanted Forest, Neal was talking about the possibility of getting your father back," Captain Hook said.
"He was? How?" Rose Red asked.
"He didn't know how. Neal... He just... He missed his family and he was desperate to find a way to return to this world. He believed that bringing his father back was the key," Captain Hook said.
"What? How?" David asked.
"He didn't know how. He just... He missed his family. He was desperate to find a way to return to this. He believed that bringing his father back was the key," Captain Hook said.
"Well, if that was his plan, then obviously something went wrong. Because, while Gold might be alive and kicking, Neal is... He is... We don't know what he is. We don't even know if he made it back to Storybrooke. No one's seen him since this new curse," Emma said.
"He's out there somewhere," David said.
"With all due respect, we have bigger issues right now, than who brought Gold back. The fact that he was in the Wicked Witch's basement for one. I wanna know what the hell she was cooking up with him," Regina said.
"Well, the best way to find that out, would be to ask Gold, right?" Giselle said.
"He tells us who the witch is, maybe how to track her down," Jefferson said.
"I'm gonna head back to that farmhouse. It's possible this witch left behind some trace of potion or special ingredient," Regina said.
"Try about it. Just be careful," Emma said.
"Well, she's the one who needs to be careful. She invaded my space. When I return the favour, I'm not pulling any punches," Regina said.
"I'll join you," Rose Red stood up, "She didn't just invade your space... She's got my father and that does not sit right with me... The only one who can control that bastard... Is me," Rose Red said.

Rose Red stood in front of the group from the diner as she told Belle about Mr Gold being alive still.
"So... So Rumpel's alive? I mean, how is that even possible?" Belle asked.
"We were hoping you might be able to tell us that. You know him and the shop better than anyone," Emma looked at Rose Red, "No offence," She looked back at Belle, "If he's in Storybrooke, there has to be a clue in here about how he got back and how we can find him, now that he is," Emma said.
