Flashback - Five Days Ago In Storybrooke...

In front of the Jolly Roger, Mr Gold turned to Belle, "You have to stay here," Mr Gold said.

"No! W...Why?...I...I...I wanna help," Belle said.

"The town is no longer safe and my granddaughter needs someone to look after her," Mr Gold said.

"What?" Belle asked.

"What?" David asked.

"Well, Greg and Tamara weren't working alone. Others will follow," Mr Gold said to David.

"No. We can't leave people in danger," Jefferson said.

"You won't," Mr Gold turned back to Grace and he walked over to her, crouching down, "After we've gone, follow these instructions. It's a cloaking spell. It'll shield the town," He handed her a scroll, "Making it impossible for anyone to find," Mr Gold said.

"I don't know how to do magic," Grace said as she took the scroll.

"You're my granddaughter, you're her daughter," Mr Gold glanced at Rose Red before looking at Grace, "You've got magic, Grace, deep down, you've got it. The town needs you. Can you do this?" Mr Gold asked.

Grace hesitated but nodded, "Mhm, I can do it," Grace said.

"Papa, she's just a child," Rose Red said.

"She's your child, she's more than capable," Mr Gold said.

"Oh, I don't doubt it," Rose Red said.

Mr Gold stood up and looked at her, "We lost Bae and the last thing I want to do is lose Belle or argue with you, right now," Mr Gold said.

Rose Red looked at him and nodded, "Okay, okay," Rose Red said and Mr Gold walked over to Belle to finish his goodbyes.

"I'm scared," Grace said.

"It'll be okay. You just need to believe and belief can make anything possible," Rose Red said and the Hatter family hugged each other.

"Stay with Belle until we return, okay?" Jefferson said.

"Okay," Grace said as tears fell.

"We love you, Gracie," Rose Red said as tears fell from her eyes.

"So much," Jefferson said as he took his wife's hand.

"I love you both too," Grace said as Belle walked to her side and Grace hugged her, crying.

They watched as the Jolly Roger disappeared into a portal, Grace walked forward looking at where they disappeared she silently cried.

Leroy, the dwarfs, Archie and Mother Superior came running onto the docks, "They did it! They saved us! They did save us, didn't they?" Leroy watched Grace turning around to them crying, "Tears of joy, princess?" Leroy asked.
