Lady Dimitrescu and Hekate's Follower

Chapter 26: Two Angry Mothers.

They were getting ready to finish off Moreau, when the manticore started chanting Greek phrases.
"Hekate, Dose mou ti dynami na nikiso afton ton daimona. Epitrepste mou na to steilo stan Hades!" she shouted, with Cassandra joining her.
"Cassandra, think hard! You can conjure your own spells!" she told her before continuing her prayer to Hekate. Cassandra thought hard, closing her eyes. She stood with her hands out, palms facing up, when and idea popped into her head.
"Ilios, theos tou iliou, se kalo!" Cassandra spoke with confidence and strength. Melania understood what her plan was and pride filled her heart for her daughter.
"Voithise me na nikiso ton daimona kai na ton steilo ston Adi!" she chanted. Suddenly she could feel heat in the palm of her hands, the heat waves dancing. She opened her eyes and smiled. The manticore managed another sting from her scorpion tail, making Moreau scream in pain. With the venom from multiple stings coursing through his body, Moreau started becoming weaker. The venom was taking effect.

"Karl! Where are you?" Donna yelled, Daniela and Bela just behind her. Alcina was just behind them, throwing and breaking furniture out of anger. They were looking for Karl frantically, worried he might be dead.
"Karl Alaric Fucking Heisenberg!! Answer me, now!" Alcina screamed, kicking a door down, breaking it off it's hinges.
"Stop screaming you fuckin giant." Alcina heard a soft mumble further into the room. She gasped when she saw him, her anger turning into absolute fear. He was hanging from his arms, his hands horribly broken, fingers pointing in ways they shouldn't. He suddenly fell unconscious. Moreau had broken his hands to prevent him from bending metal. In one swift move, Alcina used her claws and broke the chains, catching him before he falls to the ground. She cradled him in her arms, her anger quickly coming back.
"Wake up, you little shit! Don't you dare die on me!" she growled. To her relief, he was breathing, but horrible bruises on his abdomen indicated that he had internal bleeding.
"Bela, Daniela, Donna. Stay with him here. Keep an eye on him. Call me immediately if something goes wrong." Alcina said, making her way to her fiance and daughter, fighting hard outside.

"To nero exatmizetai! To nero exatmizetai!" Cassandra chanted, as the heat on her palms increased rapidly. Slowly, the water Moreau was swimming in started steaming. Moreau screamed as the water slowly began to boil, thick steam forming clouds around him. Alcina came out, and watched Cassandra with admiration and awe. Melania was standing behind her, her giant wings protectively surrounding her. She walked over to the manticore, and silent stood next to her Melania, resting her hand on the hairy shoulder. With one massive explosion, Cassandra lifted her arms, her palms facing the sun. Steak surrounded them, creating an eerie scene. It was impossible to see anything but a few meters. They stood there, listening for any movement from Moreau. Suddenly something resembling a tentacle came from the thick fog, grabbing Cassandra.
"You little bitch! Do you not understand that I will do anything for mother?!" Moreau bellowed, throwing her against rocks before Alcina or the manticore could react. As if in slow motion anger took complete control of Alcina and as she's running to Cassandra, she transformed, roaring as the dragon emerged. At the same time, the manticore flapped her giant silver wings, taking off. The thick fog rolled around them, quickly revealing everything around them. Cassandra managed to evaporate all the water, Moreau standing on almost bone dry ground. He started attacking using his tentacles. The manticore landed with an extremely loud crash, ripping off a few tentacles.
"Fuck! That's disgusting!" she roared, almost gagging. The smell coming from Moreau was difficult to handle. Alcina saw Cassandra was alive, but unconscious and picked her up. Bela, Donna and Daniela were standing a bit further away. Karl laid in front of them, still unconscious. The dragon walked over and gently placed Cassandra down next to Karl.
"Take care of them, and stay under cover." the dragon ordered, before turning around and running to the manticore.

"Moreau, bucata dezgustatoare de Rahat! How dare you come into our castle?!" the dragon bit off another tentacle.
"You come into our castle!" she clawed at his multiple eyes, causing blood to flow. The manticore was stinging and biting at his fish-like tail, growling aggressively.
"And you put your filthy hands on our daughters?!" the dragon screamed. In the dry lake, a dragon, a manticore and a giant fish ferociously fought.
"All in the name of Mother Miranda! Glory to Mother Miranda!" Moreau yelled, getting weaker by the second. The manticore kept clawing and ripping into his flesh.
"You will die here, today, Salvatore Moreau. All in the name of a hag. I will take pleasure in your death." the dragon said as the manticore stung him once more, right through the heart. He screamed in pain, hastily trying to retreat. Suddenly his body started getting bigger, blowing up like a balloon.
"Everyone take cover!!" the dragon roared, looking towards the girls.
"Fucking RUN!!" the manticore screamed, laughing hysterically. The others quickly ran into the nearest building and the two beasts taking cover behind a huge pump house. When Moreau's body couldn't stretch any further, he gave a last scream, before bursting, sending chunks of flesh flying everywhere. Greenish slime and ooze covered the buildings.
"La dracu! That's disgusting!!" Alcina's figure on the back of the dragon covered her mouth and nose with both hands. The manticore was focusing hard, trying not to throw up. They looked at each other and laughed.
"Language, love." the manticore laughed, earning a friendly punch.
"Let's get out of here. I need a bath." the dragon said, walking towards their family members.
"Are you two alright? Karl and Cassandra is alright, but they're still unconscious." Donna said. Daniela came running at the beasts, jumping with excitement.
"You two were AMAZING! Mother, I loved how you scratched his eyes! Mother, I loved how you bit his tail!!" she cheered, so excited and proud of her mothers. They smiled at her, the manticore bending down and rubbing her head against her shoulder.
"We're alright, draga mea. Both of us." It was strange to hear such soft words coming from the mouth of a dragon.
"Let's go, please? I can't deal with this malakes stench." Melania said, rubbing her big nose with her giant paws. Daniela picked up her sister's unconscious body and the dragon helped them onto her back. Alcina's arms wrapped around them. The manticore carefully picked up Karl, and placed him on her back, his head resting in her mane. She lowered a wing for Donna and Bela to climb on. They take off, leaving the filthy reservoir, heading to Castle Dimitrescu.

"I need you to take care of Cassandra and Karl, girls. Your mother and I need a bath. Please." the manticore said, starting to transform. Melania's voice accompanied the manticore's. Alcina was already back in her human form, her cream colored dress, stained black. Maidens came running out with blankets and towels. Melania finally finished her transformation, her naked body bloody and bruised. She took a blanket and wrapped in around her shoulders. Hand in hand, they walk to the shower, too dirty to get into the bath, and washed off all the blood and dirt. They get dressed in comfortable clothes and headed to the lounge. They decided to put Cassandra and Karl there, so they could all be together and keep an eye on them. They placed each of them on a couch and tended their wounds. Donna stitched Karl's hands as best she could, and wrapped them with bandages. Bela and Donna laid on the floor in front of Cassandra's couch, cuddling each other. Daniela curled up in a ball, in front of Karl's couch. Alcina and Melania smiled at the sight, happy to see everyone alive. They laid down on the bigger couch. Alcina was laying on her back, Melania laying on top of her, her head resting on her breasts. Melania almost immediately fell asleep, exhausted from the fight. Alcina watched as a maiden quietly lit the fireplace to keep them warm.
"Thank you, dear." Alcina said softly.
"Of course my lady." the maiden was surprised at Alcina's softness. She bowed slightly, leaving the family in the lounge. Alcina wrapped her arms around Melania, and quickly fell asleep.
