Silence fell in the room, as the matriarchs smoked, making the room become slightly hazy. The twins was waiting for them to speak, Daniela and Cassandra nervously sitting on the edge of the bed.
"How many years have you been working for Jack?" Alcina took her seat again, elegantly crossing her legs, the red mulberry silk gliding over her smooth skin. She caught Melania staring.
"Thirteen years, my lady." Alexandra answered. Both twins' faces were contorted with fear, yet they accepted their fate.
"Did you enjoy working for him, Luca?" Melania glanced up from her book, for the first time since the girls had brought them here. She turned and looked at their daughters on the bed behind them. They had neutral expressions. She turned her gaze back to the twins.
"No, my lady. We did not. We had no choice either." he answered, his voice breaking a little.
"Oh? Why is that? Are you not loyal?" Melania gave them a terrifying smile.
"We are loyal to those who treat us right, my lady." Alexandra answered, tears forming in her eyes.
"We are not loyal to those who treat us worse than slaves." Luca added. Alcina put her book down and looked at the twins.
"What do you mean, little ones? What do you mean worse than slaves?" she asked, both the matriarchs suddenly lost their eagerness to play games with the twins. The matriarchs sit forward in their chairs, listening intently. The twins didn't answer though, either too scared or too emotional to talk.
"Girls, you may join the twins again." Melania spoke softly. The girls quickly ran over and stood next to them, hugging their shoulders.
"You may speak freely, darlings. We won't hurt you." Alcina said, her facial features softened.
"We were abused, my lady. Not just mentally." Alexandra said.
"We were beaten constantly, so bad that one day, Alex almost died."
"Whatever he wanted to do with us, he did. Nobody was there to stop him."
"Our parents sold us to them, not just for money, but because our parents feared us, because we were twins."
"We didn't sleep in beds, we were locked in cells, with no bed or blanket."
"The only thing he fed us was cold tea and bread."
"We couldn't escape. He was working for Miranda."
"And we were his personal toys he could play with, whenever he wanted. And he wasn't keen on sharing."
"Miranda gave is the Cadou, and this is how we ended up like this." Luca finally said, the twins now holding each other's hand, crying silently.
"Please, my ladies. Don't make us leave. W-we would n-never hurt y-your daughters." Alex cried, sadness and hurt controlling her.
"Please, my ladies. We will do anything in our power to make sure the girls are protected. We will never hurt them." Luca was also crying, trying to keep a strong face.

The matriarchs seemed to be thinking quite hard, saying nothing at first.
"I am truly sorry, twins. That you had to endure that." Melania kneeled in front of them. Alcina quickly wiped away a tear before anyone could see, and joined Melania.
"You will no longer work here, as our personal hands." Alcina said, making everyone in the room look at her with shock.
"Love, can we-" Melania began but was silenced by Alcina raising a hand.
"You will remain in the castle, personal hands for our daughters, all three of them. And you will be treated with the love and respect you deserve. My love and I will treat you as our daughters." she said with a strict voice, laced with care. Daniela and Cassandra hugged their mothers, before embracing their lovers. Melania gave Alcina a warm embrace, kissing her neck.
"I love you so much." she whispered in her ear.
"As I love you." Alcina answered, resting her head on Melania's shoulder. They got up and took their seats again, never letting go of each other's hands.
"But, hear my words, Alexandra and Luca." Alcina's voice made their smiles fade.
"And listen well." Melania added, also adding to the tension in the room.
"If you do anything to harm our family, or break our daughters hearts, we will kill you and enjoy every moment of it. Do I make myself clear?" she smiled a scary smile.
"Of course, my lady. We would never do anything to harm you or any of your family." Alexandra said.
"You have treated us better than our own mother did." Luca finished. Melania hummed in approval.
"Very well. I have one last question for you. Alexandra, how did you manage to save my precious daughter?" Alcina asked, lighting another cigarette for the two of them.
"Well, my lady. We were sleeping and I woke to Daniela screaming, being dragged away by that man. I immediately reacted on instinct and pushed him over on his back. I pressed my middle and index finger on his temples, making him see a vision of his own death. What he saw was Lord Heisenberg, breaking his neck and throwing him into one of his infernos at the factory to burn to death. And sure enough, Lord Heisenberg came in, upon hearing Daniela screaming, and killed him." she said with pride in her voice.
"Brilliant. Thank you twins, daughters. You may go. Your mother and I will not be joining for dinner." Melania said, smiling. Two smiling queens, looking at their children. The girls each gave Alcina and Melania a kiss on the cheek, as the twins bowed their heads. The four of them left the room.

Alcina quietly dressed into her nightgown, and got into bed with a glass of wine hanging from her hand, the other hand holding her book. She watched Melania over the rim of the book, pretending to read when Melania would glance at her. She was watching very carefully as Melania got up from her chair and stretched, placing her book down on the table. Melania pretended not to notice Alcina watching her. She casually walked over to the door, locking it. Humming cheerfully to herself, she walked over to the black-out curtains and closed them. They were playing a silent game, to see who would snap first. Trying to seduce Melania to get her to submit, Alcina lifted the blanket off her smooth legs, pulling her nightgown up to her hip, exposing her blood red lingerie. Melania struggled internally, but managed to pretend not to see this. She walked over to the vanity, to remove her makeup and brush her hair. But before sitting down, Melania reached under her dress and took off her panties, throwing them over her shoulder, landing them on the bed next to Alcina.

Alcina closed her eyes, smiling, and exhaled softly, trying to contain her laugh. Alcina regained her composure and took off her panties and threw it at Melania, making it hang over the top of the ornate mirror Melania was looking at. Melania squinted her eyes, looking directly at Alcina, who was pretending to be focused on her book. She smiled deviously. Without getting up, Melania took her dress off, dropping in to the floor. She then took her bra off, and threw it, landing right on Alcina's book. Melania heard Alcina chuckle through her hands covering her mouth. Melania smiled at her little victory. When she didn't hear anything from her again, she carried on, running the brush through her hair.
"Rahat. I spilled my wine." Alcina said suddenly. Melania, thinking that she won, turned around and looked at Alcina.
"I win this little-" she fell silent. Alcina laid naked on the bed, the bloody wine all over her breasts. She was busy licking the blood from her fingers, looking into Melania's eyes, a smile hidden in her golden eyes. Melania pressed her lips together, trying with all her strength not to run over to Alcina. But when she reached down, rubbing her fingers between her legs with her one hand, and biting her finger on the other, without breaking eye contact. Melania couldn't contain herself any longer, she moved so quickly, the drapes on their four poster bed moved with the breeze her body created. Alcina didn't even get to celebrate her victory, Melania was already on top of her, her lips firmly yet gently pressed against Alcina's. They had driven each other's lust over the edge, neither of them able to control themselves any longer. They hungrily pleasure each other, taking turns to make each other scream, into the early hours of the morning. When they finally had no more energy, they fell asleep, facing the wrong way, their feet where their heads are supposed to be. Before allowing sleep to take them, they faced each other, Alcina smiling a tired smile.
"I win." she mumbled, wrapping her arms around Melania, making her the little spoon.

A week had passed since their talk with the twins, and the matriarchs grew more paranoid and stressed as the days went by. Not seeing or hearing anything from Miranda worried them deeply. They expected her to have retaliated by now. Everyone in the castle tended to avoid them, since the stress made them temperamental and aggressive. They couldn't help it, being in a vampire's nature to have emotions far more intense than that of mere humans. Not only that, they were so happy seeing their family safe and happy, that they were constantly scared that something might happen to them. It had gotten worse over the past few days, they hardly got any sleep, the two of them constantly roaming the castle, hand in hand, patrolling and making sure everyone was alright. They tried their best not to take their anger and frustration out on the rest of their family, not always successful. One morning, Daniela and Cassandra was playing music in the music room for the twins, Bela and Donna listening. Alcina and Melania was sitting on a couch in the dining hall, not too far from the music room, fast asleep, their exhaustion catching up on them. The soothing melody the girls were playing also assisting them with their sleep. Melania was sitting, listening to the girls playing, Alcina already asleep with her head on Melania's lap. She leaned her head back against the couch and fell asleep listening to Alcina's soft and slow breathing. Their peaceful slumber was harshly interrupted by the sound of the girls screaming.
