Langa dragged Itsuki into the seat next to him, and she grunted at the hard impact. Langa quickly turned to her, veering his attention away from Reki.

"Are you okay?" He asked as she she dusted herself off, out of breath. "Yes, I'm fine, just a little out of breath from all that running." She smiled, leaning on her head, letting it hold her up as she looked at Langa. Once he had the clear assurance that she was alright, he turned back to where Reki and Shiro were sitting, trying to listen to their conversation.

-

"We've been sitting here for five minutes and you still haven't said a word." Reki growled as he impatiently and anxiously clenched his hands under the table where Shiro couldn't see. Shiro simply scoffed as he shrugged, crossing his arms.

"You gave me 20 minutes, so I'm gonna use it however I want." Shrio glared and Reki shot his eyes at him, shaking his head in disbelief. Reki had given him 20 minutes out of a moment of weakness and as expected, Shiro was taking full advantage of it. But the fact of the reason why they were that situation still remained in Reki's head, haunting him.

"What do you want from me, Shiro?" Reki blurt out, holding in his tears and Shiro's smug smile instantly dissipated as Reki continued. "Do you want me to cry into your arms and say that I miss you everyday, despite what you did to me?" Reki said, his voice breaking at the end. As Reki looked away, taking a breath to calm down, Shiro could see the tears glistening his eyes.

"Reki—"

"No, you left..." Reki said, forcefully pushing tears back to trauma they came from as he continued, with a shaky voice. "You left because you couldn't handle me being different—me being that way. You could've said no like a normal person, but you just had to overreact, like you always do." Shiro leaned on the table closer to Reki in anger.

"Right, like you aren't the definition of anger issues." Shiro said bringing Reki rage much higher than it already. Shiro closed his eyes, letting himself calm down a little bit before speaking again. "Look, I didn't come back to fight."

"Then, why did you?" Reki said, no longer filled with anger, but instead, sheer and utter hurt.

"Because I want you in my life again." Shiro pled and Reki shook his head, wishing that he'd been allowed to storm out in that moment. "I miss my best friend." Shiro said and at last, Reki snapped into a thousand pieces.

"Langa's my best friend and I'm his. You're about three years too late." Reki said slouching into his chair, as if he had somehow won the conversation. Shiro, however, wouldn't take no for an answer, as always. "What, he can't share or anything?"

"I'm not an object for anyone to own or share, so stop treating me like it!" Reki grunted in frustration and he relaxed for a moment, thinking. "You want to be my best friend again? Tell Langa exactly what happened three years ago." Reki said and Shiro's panic showed clearly in his eyes.

"Langa!" Reki called out to his blue haired friend and both him and Itsuki got up from their seats and slid into the booth with Reki and Shiro and Langa looked at Reki from his seat beside Shiro and smiled awkwardly. "Is everything okay?"

"Shiro, tell my friend here what happened three years ago." Reki glared coldly, making the booth tense and quiet. Langa felt distraught for a moment, lingering on the way Reki had referred to him, and it seemed to bother him in a way it hadn't in the past, but this was about Reki, so he manged to push it aside for another day. Shiro sighed and shook his head.

"No, Reki. We're not doing this today." Shiro said keeping his eyes on the counter and Reki slightly smiled, almost in anger. "If you won't do it, then I will." Reki said looking away and looking around the restaurant, internally reminiscing.
