i was sitting on a blanket in the park with my friend y/f/n when i saw a cute guy playing with his dog.

y/f/n: who are you looking at she said turning around

y/n: i do not! i don't even know him. i'm looking at his dog.
y/f/n: dog is pretty cute. you should go up to him
y/n: what! why i said as my cheeks started to get red

i got up and walked over to him

there was a moment of awkward silence before i spoke up
y/n: um i just came over here to say you have a cute dog, what's his name?
k: oh uh thanks. his name is mochi

k: would you uh like to go to dinner sometime?

we drove to saddle ranch, had dinner and talked before he dropped me off at home.
