4 years later/ your pov

it's been 4 years since i last saw blake. he never tried to reach out and see bear again. which that could only mean one thing- he's still seeing her. from what i've heard from the boys they don't talk to him as much anymore and i guess from what i heard from avani blake and amelie are official. he was saying all this stuff about how he was sorry and how he wanted to see bear again but never made the effort and instead asked amelie to be his girlfriend a week after we broke up. after about 3 months it didn't even phase me anymore because i met someone new. apparently he was friends with the sway boys but i've never seen him over there or when i was with blake i never saw him.

we started dating about 3 months after blake and i broke up and became a father figure to bear. he even went out of his way to adopt him on his second birthday. me and vinnie have been dating for about 4 and a half years and we are currently expecting our first child together. we were having a baby girl in december. today was bears fourth birthday and we were going over to the sway house to celebrate. i wasn't concerned that blake was gonna be here since bryce kicked out him out after everything happened.

v: are you ready love he said walking over to me putting a hand on my growing belly
y: yes
v: i can't believe in 3 months we're gonna have a baby
y: i know i'm so excited

i gave him a kiss then went to get bear from his room.

y: hi baby! happy birthday
b: thank you mommy
y: you ready to go see all your uncles?
b: yes!
y: than let's go

20 minutes later

we arrived at sway 20 minutes later and saw bryce standing at the door

bear: uncle bryce!!
bryce: hey buddy! i missed you, happy birthday
bear: i missed you too he said giving him a hug
y: let's go inside

2 hours later

we all hung out for a little bit before we decided that we should sing happy birthday and open presents

vinnie: bear!! you ready to sing and open presents
bear: yes!!

vinnie put the candles in the cake and lit them before counting down to sing happy birthday

bear blew out his candles and made a wish before me and vinnie cut the cake

it was around 8 o'clock when his party ended and everyone started to leave while me,vinnie and bryce started cleaning up. we thought everyone had left until i saw someone coming up to me.

i looked up and saw none other than blake gray himself

y: what are you doing here
bl: i just wanna say i'm sorry for everything
y: blake you had 4 years to say your sorry me and bear have been living a great life without you
bl: i can see he said pointing to your bump
bl: congrats by the way
y: thanks..
v: babe where'd you go he said walking over to us
v: oh.. hey blake
bl: your having a baby with him..?
y: yeah.. he's a good father unlike you were
bl: like i was saying i'm sorry and i want to be involved in bears life now
y: blake- vinnie adopted him when he was two
y: i waited for 3 months and just gave up because i knew you weren't going to stop seeing her anytime soon so i just gave up
bl: oh...
bl: can i still see him when you come to sway since i'm moving back in?
y: of course
br: glad y'all finally made up
v: four years later...
y: bryce when did you forgive him?
br: like 2 years ago
y: oh well, babe you ready to go?
v: yeah
v: bear!
bear: yes daddy? he asked vinnie
v: you ready to go?
bear: yeah but who is he? he asked pointing up to blake
y: baby, that's uncle blake, he used to be friends with daddy
bl: hi buddy he said kneeling down to his level

bear: are you gonna be here with uncle bryce when me mommy and daddy come over?
bl: yeah buddy
bear: ok
v: you ready to go now buddy?
bear: yeah daddy
y: thank you for finally being involved in his life after four years
bl: your welcome he said giving me a hug
bl: and congrats to you and vinnie on your baby
y: thanks blake and i'll see you guys tomorrow
