Alyssa's POV;

My knuckles were starting to bruise from how hard I was banging on the door. Chloe was a dangerous wreck running her fingers through her hair and pacing the sidewalk. Jack Johnson and Nash were consoling her and walking with her.

"I don't..I don't trust him you guys.", I could hear her say.

"Chloe you need to relax. He's not gonna do anything dumb!", Taylor yelled at her turning around.He was getting really pissed, but I kind of think he liked Chloe and would do anything to put a bad name on Jack or get her to stop thinking about him.

Suddenly she threw her head back towards him and at this point me Matt and Hayes were just looking around clueless. Her hands were balled into fists and her entire body was shaking.

I'd never seen her this pissed.

"You don't know Jack like I do.", was all she said, but I guarantee that she had wanted to say more.

Erik's POV;

"Alright I'll see you later.", I waved to my friends and headed back towards my hotel when I heard a bunch of screaming and arguing coming from down the block. I began jogging towards the apartment complex when I recognized the short blonde hair and voice.

"Chloe!", I yelled finally meeting up with them. She looked frantic and out of her mind. I placed my hands on her shoulders and told her to take a few deep breaths and I looked at her friends.

"The guys that live with us have the keys but they're drunk and-", one boy with blonde hair was beginning to say when we got cut off by a deep voice screaming from above us.

"What the fuck!?", Hayes yelled.

"JACK NO!!", Chloe screamed her heart out.

Jack?

That's when I saw the terrifying picture in front of me.

Jack G's POV;

My hands would burn whenever I touched the hot, black railing but I couldn't help it. For that split second I wasn't thinking about my family, how Taylor had to always barge in and ruin everything, how everyone thought I was such a fuckup, and especially wasn't thinking about Chloe and how I ruined that good thing, too.

I looked below me and could see them.

I had just moved in with these people a month ago and I was already in love.

But truly, they were all just strangers. Roommates, not a family.

I slammed my hands down on the railing and swung my leg over and stepped up. Barely balancing on the railing, shifting my weight even an inch I'd be done.

And I was considering it greatly.

"JACK NO!!!!", I looked down. Tears streamed down her face. Her body and hands quivering, face flushed. And then a boy. His hands on her shoulders and his expression made it seem like he wouldn't care whether I got off or jumped.

And that's how I thought everyone else felt too.

"I'm begging you Jack. I love you."

I turned my head to see my best friend, Cameron. He wasn't laughing on the couch anymore, he was staring at me from behind the door with tears running down and wide eyes.

"Don't do it.", he mouthed slowly opening the glass door. We had gone through this situation many times before and he knew how he had to handle me. He slowly crept up to me and took my hand in his with a tight grip.

My breathing was raspy and shaky. I looked down once more, everyone in tears.

These people barely knew me and they were crying for me, now I was just drawing a crowd.

I stepped down and joined Cameron in the living room slamming the door shut. He looked at me and we stared for a while like that.

"Gonna send me to a hospital again?"

He shrugged, "They ain't gonna do shit."

I turned and walked into my bedroom. Laying in the same spot where Chloe used to lay. I crossed my legs and put my hands behind my head.

And I thought about how when I almost fell I didn't want to die, but now that rush was over and I couldn't help but think,

What if I did?
