Hayes's POV;
I brushed my fingertips back and forth along Alyssa's shoulder as her body slowly moved in an up and down rhythym, she was asleep.
How did my life so suddenly become this perfect?
"Hey Hay-", Nash and Shawn walked in slamming the door open. I pressed my finger to my lips quickly and felt Alyssa moving on me.
"She's sleeping", I mouthed to them both.
Nash started thrashing his hands around and mouthing, "Whipped" and Shawn was hysterical laughing. I pointed out to the door and rolled my eyes. Nash winked before closing the door shut and I heard them walk into Matt and Jack Johnson's room next to us.
Suddenly I could hear little drops of rain becoming heavier and heavier on the glass window outside. It had been on and off all day but I was getting this sick and heavy feeling in my stomach that this wasn't any kind of regular rain. I heard the front door open and close shut, I hope Nash and the rest of them would be okay out there.
Chloe's POV;
"It's such a bummy day outside.", I sat staring out the window pressing the back of my body against Jacks. It felt so right, with the rain and the dark room. All I could see were the dark grey streaks peering through the blinds and our shadows intertwined on my wall. He trailed kisses along the back of my ear and neck.
"It's a bummy day, but it's perfect as long as it's with you.", he whispered sucking gently on my neck. I laughed and pushed him away and turned around, our eyes staring into each others.
I lost my trail of thought for a bit..
"Chlo.", he said and I snapped right back into reality. I could feel my teeth biting onto my bottom lip and I stopped, blushing and looking down at the bed.
"I was gonna say...you're a faggot.", I laughed and turned around again feeling him scoop me in tighter to him when bolts of lighting and thunder began to rain down on us. The rain was getting harder and harder, the wind so bad I thought the windows were about to crack.
I could feel not only my own body shaking, but Jack's as well. I buried my head in the crook of his neck.
"I hate this weather.", my voice becoming raspy as I was losing my breath. Jack rubbed small cirlces and I could hear him gulp.
He was scared too.
Cameron's POV;
"Holy shit.", I said to myself slowly walking towards the glass door that led to the balcony. I could literally hear the glass shaking, I don't know where Nash, Matt, Johnson, or Shawn went but it was really idiotic of them too. But then again the weather just randomly took off like this.
Taylor was surprisingly still asleep on the couch across from me, Jack was in their bedroom with Chloe, and Alyssa was asleep with Hayes in their room as well.
"Woah!", I gasped jumping back. California weather could get crazy but THIS was scary. Like something you'd see in one of those ending of the world movies on TV.
I quickly closed the curtains, locked the door, moved one of the recliners against the glass door and turned on the weather station.
'A sudden tropical storm has taken over the western side of California, mostly LA and reports are coming in of a 9.5 earthquake. With this sudden alert all stores have shut down and everyone is too cautious to go out and buy supplies. We don't know how or when the earthquake will arrive or when the tropical storm will end. No one has ever seen anything like this. STAY IN YOUR HOMES!'
I shakily lifted up my phone and dialed the first person I could think of's number.
I looked at the contact name, Shawn.
It rang and rang for what seemed like ages until I finally heard that innocent voice.
"He...l...lo?", the phone was breaking up already. I ran around in circles in the room trying not to wake any of them up at the same time.
"Where are you?", I ran my fingers through my hair and put on pants. I'd been in my boxers all day and for once in California, I was cold from all this wind blowing in.
And then it hung up.
