Sasuke practically ran out of the house. The biggest smile was plastered on his face and he cheered in his head.

'Finally! This nightmare is over.'

He giggled quietly while he raced down the pathway, towards Itachi's sports car. "Hey little bro, bet you didn't have a good time so I'm taking you to a restaurant before we get home."

Sasuke's smile grew even wider, his happiness shot through the meteforical roof. The past weekend all he was thinking about was Itachi.

He disliked him because of his father.. But Itachi wasn't so bad. Just.. He lacked empathy, that's all, but today? He seemed to be feeling a whole lot nicer because he was going to spend his money, on Sasuke!

"Hop in, before the snake decides to drag you back into that house. I can almost smell the stench from here." Itachi grinned, causing Sasuke to let out a small laugh while he opened the door of the expenisive and new car.

Once he was strapped in, he closed the door and off they went. To have a nice brotherly lunch without anybody to disturb them.. God it felt like a whole millenia had passed since they last shared a bonding moment, but here they were.

Sasuke thought it was probably because Itachi would move out in a couple of years and he wanted to make up for lost time.

Better now than never, Sasuke thought, unable to wipe the smile off his face.

He never knew he would be this excited to spend time with his spoiled brother. The one he hated so much and was so jealous of.. Making him smile and beam with happiness in a car seat,

'How times change..'

He glanced at his older brother, who seemed totally focused on the road, yet he had this strange smile. One Sasuke hadn't seen since they were kids. He seemed to be genuinely happy, but at the same time...

He seemed sad, perhaps something happened at home? Maybe dad shouted at him? He shrugged it off, he was far too hungry to think about anything else.

Yet the thought still lingered, worrying the younger Uchiha.

Sasuke smirked as he felt the car pull up at the restaurant.

Sure, it wasn't TOO expensive, but still it was expensive for just 'lunch'. Father never took them out, and when he did he always seemed to 'forget' Sasuke existed so he would end up eating some left overs or fruit, waiting for the two people who acknowledge him to come home, and..The bastard.
