The Mercy West merge was one of the best and worse things that happened to you, your life was pretty good with your original Seattle Grace residents but you eventually become friends with some of the fifth year residents from Mercy West and also Lexie Grey, you and Alex started dating a couple of months back but it turned out you and him were better off as friends.
You were on Mark's service today, so you were walking around the hospital trying to find his patients for post-ops, and you find Cristina and you guys get into the elevator as this man walks in with you two
"Excuse me, could either of you tell me where to find the chief?" This man asks and you and Cristina just look at eachother
"Uh, Dr. Shepherd he's probably in his office" you say
"Yeah, I've been to his office before. I can't seem to remember how to get there. I keep going in circles" Gary the man in the elevator says
"It's- it's in the east wing. That's by labs, across the catwalk" Cristina explains
"Sorry that's?" Gary says confused
"You just gotta cross through the patient floor on three, and then follow the signs to the main lobby, and then you should find it no problem" Cristina says
"Thank you" Gary says as the elevator dings and Cristina walks out leaving you alone with him
You guys just stand there in silence until your pager beeps, you check on it and it says there's a lockdown and that there is a shooter in the hospital, you didn't know why but you started getting scared
"Was that important?" Gary asks
"Uh, no, no, My attending just paged me" you lied as you start shaking
The elevator door opens and then Gary grabs your arm "now could you show me exactly where Dr. Shepherd's office is" Gary says as he clenched the gun in his pocket and you start hyperventilating and crying
"No, no, p-please... please" you say shaking as you start sobbing even louder as the shooter was grabbing you tightly to make sure you don't get out of his grasp
You guys walk into the main lobby and you notice Lexie and Mark chatting and he starts walking up the stairs
"Lilia!" Mark shouts which grabs everyone's attention
"Sir, we're in lockdown, you can't leave here" Vivian the nurse shouts but then Gary gets his gun out and shoots a couple shots at her and everyone starts screaming and you gasp and scream as well which makes him have a firmer grip on you
"Lilia!" Lexie screams running towards you but mark grabs her and gets onto the ground with her to make sure they don't get shot
"Lexie" you say crying loudly as Gary runs up the stairs with you "please, stop hurting people!" You say to him but Gary doesn't talk back to you and when you get to the next lobby he just starts shouting everyone in sight
