To my newborn niece, 

I'm not really your uncle. But I'm close enough to be one. How did I guess you were a girl? Statistically speaking, a pretty couple are 80%  more likely to have a girl than a boy. And you have beautiful parents. So I took a major gamble and wrote it all to a girl. And if you're a dude well I fuc- I MEAN messed up majorly. Antonia, you're going to be a heartbreaker just like your Dad. But you're going to be clever like your Mom. And a supreme human since you were named after me. I wish I could've seen you. I loved your parents very much and I did everything I could to keep them together. So they have all the love in the world to give to you. I'm going to keep it short and sweet because you're still a baby, fresh out of the womb (or maybe evicted). You will learn a lot of cruel lessons. You will learn some beautiful lessons. Your life is going to be so awfully confusing. Hopefully, you won't have to go through it alone. And I'll be there. All for the next turbulent 18 years of your life. I want you to be kind. I want you to be strong. I want you to be loving.

I've never met you. But I love you Antonia.
