MudPuddle's Desire

Chapter 1

     
      Mudkit stumbled out of the nursery, eyes finally open. He could hear, and see the world now. Well, Weedclan's camp that is.
"Hey, Mudkit!" A high pitched voice mewed, it must have been Owlkit. Mudkit thought turning around to see his brother.
"What?" He mewed once Owlkit made it to him.
"Weedclan looks amazing!" He screeched loudly.
"Ow! That hurt my ears... mousebrain-" Mudkit hissed to his brother.
"Sorry." Owlkit murmured then ran towards the other kits.
"It's fine." He hissed under his breath as he laid down and fell asleep.

     MudKit had a rude awakening, OwlKit, RedKit, BreezeKit, MapleKit, and GrayKit all laughing in the back of the nursery.
     MudKit sat up, rubbing his eyes with the back of his paw   
     "What's so funny?" He mewed, looking towards the kits.
"Yeah, you guys have been laughing since Mudkit fell asleep." Rosekit, Maplekit and Redkit's sister said.
    The kits just laughed harder. Owlkit started to walk out of the nursery, Graykit, Breezekit, Redkit, and Maplekit all followed him.
"I don't understand what was so funny?" Mudkit hissed.
"Same." Rosekit mewed. Mudkit looked over to Orangekit and Applekit, playing moss ball. He walked over to them, "Can I play..?" He mewed quietly.
"Sure I guess," Applekit meowed, looking over to Orangekit.
     Orangekit passed the moss ball to Applekit.
"Okay, Mudkit you're going to throw the moss ball, while me and Orangekit will try to catch it. If we catch it we have to keep it away from you," Applekit mewed, tossing the ball of moss to Mudkit.
"Okay.." Mudkit meowed.
"Can I play?" Rosekit asked politely, standing up and walking towards Orangekit.
"Yeah, you can." Orangekit mewed looking towards Rosekit.
"Okay!" Rosekit mewed happily getting into place.
