~Dallas's POV~

We've been living here in Logan for a little over a week. We're starting to notice an increase in walkers. We know that sooner or later we're gonna have to start moving. Darren is growing so fast he's such a happy baby. He has his daddy's bright Dixon blue eyes, and his hair eventually came out like mine. He's starting to crawl and sooner or later he'll be walking. Those are the days that Daryl and I are most worried about. It's hard to take care of a kid who wants nothing more than to be on the ground, but when walkers are around he'll have to learn to deal. It'll be really difficult to get through a five month olds head, 'No you can't walk because those dead people want to eat you.' How the fuck am I going to explain that what? I looked out the window and my eyes went wide. I saw Daryl running to the house, Darren in his arms and walkers hot on their tail. I ran downstairs as fast as I could and opened the door for them. They ran in and I locked the first screen door while he went and locked all the rest. I let out a deep breath of relief that was short lived as the glass on the screen door shattered. I shut the big wooden door and locked before running to the second set of doors locking them. I looked back at Daryl shaking my head. The rest of the group walked in, Rick stepped forward giving the group orders.

"Alright guys, we move tomorrow, but for now the blinds in the living room stay closed, no one goes near them. The last thing we need is to alert anymore that we're in here alright..."

He looked at me.

"Dallas, I suggest you and Daryl keep Darren with you just in case. I don't need him getting hurt, or causing any trouble alright?"

I nodded my head looking at Daryl before taking Darren upstairs. I closed the door so he could crawl around before we had to leave again. I laid on the bed looking up at the ceiling when Daryl came in, Darren tried to jet out the door. I shook my head when Daryl caught him and brought him closing the door. Daryl set Darren down walking to me and sitting next to me, he looked down.

"Glen, Rick, and I wanna clear the walkers."

My eyes went wide and I sat up real quick.

"What the fuck is wrong with you? Daryl you can't, you have a son, Glen has a wife, and Rick has Carl and Judith. None of you are going out there, no way in hell am I letting you go out there. Come on Daryl it's not just you and me anymore, we have a son to think about."

"And you think I'm not thinkin about him? That's why I wanna go out there, I wanna clear them so we can keep this place a little longer. I'm tired of runnin Dallas, stop being so damn stubborn and let me do this, I can take care of myself."

"It's not you I'm worried about, it's Darren. We just got you back and now you wanna leave again? Daryl we can't keep doing this."

He took my hands in his pulling me up, looking into my green eyes, he moved a stray piece of hair from my face.

"Nothin's gonna happen to me, I promise. If I go out there I'll come back, I promise."

"You better."

"I will."

He gave me one last kiss before walking out the door. I looked out the window seeing about fifty walkers and I knew that the three of them couldn't do this alone. I looked at Darren letting a single tear slide down my face. I picked him up and walked downstairs, I looked at Carol and saw that Maggie was going out too. I looked at them before handing Darren to Carol after kissing his head whispering to him.

"Momma loves you baby boy."

I looked at Carol.

"If anything happens, Daryl and I don't come back, tell him about us. Tell him that we love him and it's because we love him that we did this alright?'

"Of course."

Rick came over to me and Carol.

"Ya know I was gonna leave my kids to you and Daryl, but since your going out there..."

He looked at Carol.

"Carol if they don't come back take care of Carl and Judith, for me?"

Carol nodded her head.

"Of course, and if they do come back."

Rick looked at me.

"They'll be amazing parents."

I smiled, giving him a hug, kissing Darren on the head and walking over to Daryl with my knives in my hands. I looked at him giving him a quick kiss before Rick opened the front door. We walked around the house killing a few walkers along the way. When we got to the medium sized group I knew that this wasn't going to end well. We started killing walkers as they came. I ended up throwing a knife killing one that was coming up behind Daryl. I helped Daryl up and ran grabbing my knife. I saw Maggie get bit, and heard Glen cry out for the loss of his love. He ran to the walker stabbing it over and over again. I saw another walker go for him, I threw my knife ending the walker's unnatural life. It wasn't long after that that I saw Rick go down. I walked over to him and he took my hand pulling me to him whispering in my ear.

"I love you Dallas, take care of my kids, tell them I love them, tell them I'm sorry."

I nodded my head and his hand went limp in mine. I looked away with tears in my eyes as I grabbed my knife. I sighed saving him from the misery that has struck this world. Daryl and I finished off the rest of them while Glen grieved over the loss of his wife. Daryl and I took the bodies across the street to an old alleyway and dumped them there. When we got back I looked at Glen noticing blood seeping through his shirt. I walked over lifting it up to see a huge bite mark. I backed up and Glen looked back at us taking his knife and burying it in the back of Maggie's skull. He let out a haggis breath before standing up looking at Daryl and I.

"Do it, just make it quick okay, I wanna be with her."

I nodded my head and Daryl handed me my knife. I made Glen lay down next to Maggie and he took her lifeless hand in his before closing his eyes.

"I love you Maggie, now and forever."

I lifted his head and quickly shoved my knife through the back of his skull, his blood ran down my hands. I looked at Daryl before getting up and going over to the shed, I opened it, and what was my uncle sprang out at me. I plunged my knife through his forehead, falling to the ground with tears streaming down my face. Daryl came over wrapping his arms around me, lifting me from the ground, he carried me into the house and then everything went black.
