"Your highness, Crown Princess Y/n has arrived, would you like to greet her?"

"Sure, I don't have anything in my schedule right now anyway," The blonde empress stood up and walked towards the entrance of the palace.

"Where is your highness going?"

"Oh Rashta, I'm just going to greet the Northern Princess when she arrives later." The raven haired emperor caressed his lover's cheek as he bud farewell to her.

However before he could exit the chamber,

"Does your highness really have to greet the princess? Rashta still wants your highness to play with Rashta. Is a random princess really more important than Rashta?" Her beady eyes bore into his as she held onto his arms and pouted.

'cute' was what he thought at the moment. "I'm sorry Rashta, but I have to show respect. I'll come back to you as fast as I can. The princess is never more important than you. You'll always be the only one in my heart," the idiot emperor cooed at his lover before he left to greet the arriving guest.

"Azule... Are we there yet??" You asked impatiently as you sighed. You really wanted time to pass by quicker. It has been a week and you have yet to arrive at the Eastern Kingdom.

Azule sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "For the 83rd time, we're almost there. Princess for the love of god please shut up, I'm trying to get a good rest before we arrive," He grumbled.

Who could blame him? The whole journey you have been annoying him, not letting him have an inch of sleep. Poor Azule.

"Heh alright, sleep well dear Azule," You decided it was enough and let the poor man sleep the rest of the journey.

SLAP

"Azule, wake up... we've arrived," Azule jolted up from his seat, shocked at the revolting pain he felt.

"Huh? Oh sh-" His sentence was cut off when he was pushed out of the coach by non other.

"Oh right.. Ahem," He brushed his clothing down and did whatever to make himself look more presentable for the rulers of the Eastern Kingdom. He opened the coach door, and out stepped, the crown princess of the Northern Empire, you *Tada*.

Right when you were about to take a step forward, you saw a flash of blue. Something fell down, right to your feet. You looked down, only to see a blue mocking bird. It must have fallen after colliding with your coach.

Your heart clenched, feeling sorry for the poor bird. Truth is, you have a small soft spot for animals. You would have adopted any animal out there if you were not so irresponsible.

You bent down to scoop up the blue bird onto your hand, slightly cooing at the cute animal. "Are you alright little one?" you asked as you carefully patted it's head. To your surprise, it nodded, as if it understood you completely.
