"Just the two of us, building castles in the sky-"
—— "How is everyone doing? I just kinda ghosted everyone haha..." Reki chuckled nervously, rubbing his nape."Miya wouldn't admit it, but he definitely missed you. Both Cherry and Joe asked me to check in with you, and even Shadow showed some concern for you. But otherwise, they've just been skating normally." Langa said to Reki.
The trio consisting of Y/n, Reki, and Langa were at their neighbourhood fast food restaurant, hanging out after the boys made up with each other. Y/n listened in closely, while eating away at their (favourite fast food).
"That's good to hear. I'm sorry for worrying everyone." Reki lowered his head, taking a fry and dipping it in ketchup. He then proceeded to eat it whole.
Langa stretched his arm, since he sat across from Reki in the booth they were in. His palm landed on the red head's shoulder and gave it a reassuring touch.
"Reki. You don't have to apologize anymore. Your own feelings are completely valid and you don't have to disregard them." Langa gave Reki a soft smile.
"Langa's right, you know?" Y/n suddenly spoke up, lifting up their head to look at Reki.
The gazes of Reki and Y/n met, their glistening eyes colliding with each other. As cliché as this sounded, it felt like time had stopped for a brief moment.
"Hey Reki, you're zoning out." Langa waved his hand in front of Reki's face, and his consciousness was snapped back into reality.
"Haha, sorry Langa, I was just deep in thought." Reki chuckled, as he finished eating his last french fry.
Y/n's attention returned as well, but this time they couldn't stop thinking about those amber eyes they could stare at forever.
"Stop. I'm being so cheesy today. Pull yourself together." Y/n sighed internally.
Even if they kept denying it, Reki Kyan's eyes were like rare gemstones that are precious to Y/n.
