I woke up to the sound of my annoying alarm clock and Niall's arms around me. I sighed and turned it off. I pushed his arms off me and got out of bed. I stretched and yawned.
Niall looked up at me and frowned. "You have to take me to school," I said firmly. "Now get out, I have to take my shower." "Why can't I stay for that?" He smiled cheekily, propping his elbow up.
I rolled my eyes and he finally got out of bed. "Well good morning to you, grumpy," he said, coming over to give me a kiss. I smiled and he walked out of the room.
I took my time taking my shower and getting ready. It was another dreaded Monday, and I had school. I swiped eyeliner on and ran down the stairs.
I stuffed a poptart in my mouth and grabbed my bag. "Ready?" I snapped at Niall, who was sitting on the couch watching TV. He got up unwillingly and walked over to me.
"Fine," he sighed. I smiled brightly at him and he didn't smile back. I now frowned at him and walked out towards the car.
The car ride seemed to last five seconds. I didn't want to leave the car and be away from Niall for seven hours. "See you at two, babe." He kissed me on the lips and caressed my face.
I held there for a second, making the kiss last. I finally leaned out, and got out of the car. I mouthed "I love you" when I was out of the car. He made a heart with his hands and I laughed.
I walked slowly towards the door, watching all the girls give me rude looks. All the girls at school basically hated me now, because I was dating Niall.
The boys on the other hand, all flirted with me. I have never had that happen in my entire life. Being engrossed in my thoughts, I bumped into my crush.
"O-oh, I'm sorry," I apologized. "That's okay. So, how's Niall doing?" he asked with a sarcastic tone. "Fine, why?" He shrugged in response. I turned away and rolled my eyes.
Casey walked with me toward our homeroom. Once we got there, I swiftly walked to my seat, which was beside one of my only friends.
"What was that about?" Hayleigh asked, curious as to why I walked into the room with him. "My God, Hayleigh. I bumped into him and then he asked me how Niall was doing."
She gave me a look I couldn't quite point out. Just then, the guy I used to like ran into the room and took a seat beside me. He was so annoying, I wanted nothing to do with him.
"Hey, why were you walking with HIM?" Triston exaggerated. I rolled my eyes and covered my face, hiding my flushed cheeks. This is the reason I hate school.
"Because, we were talking. Why do you care?" I told him rudely. "Because, you are my friend, right?" he asked, and I could tell he was trying to get on my nerves.
"Please, fuck off," Hayleigh whispered to him as the teacher began to speak. I looked at her and then him in shock and he finally turned away.
"Okay, now today you need to have your textbooks, because we are going to do some busy work. I am going to be in a meeting, and I have a sub for you.
The sub walked in, and it was the substitute I hated most. The whole class groaned with me and pulled out their textbooks. "Okay! Be good!" She practically glided out of the room.
The substitute wrote the numbers on the board. I moaned when I saw 1-50. I grabbed a piece of paper from Triston's desk and began to write. I tried to focus on the numbers on the page but I couldn't.
"May I go to the bathroom?" I asked. He nodded his head and I tapped Hayleigh's desk. She asked to go too and we slipped out of the classroom. "Holy shit, what was that?"
I gave her a strange look. "The things in the book," she clarified and I nodded. I turned around and Casey and Triston were walking to catch up with us. I groaned and pulled Hayleigh into the girls bathroom.
They cursed at us and we started to giggle. "But seriously Kallista, I have to pee." I laughed as she ran into the stall. I heard heels in the hallway and dashed into the stall beside hers.
"What are you boys think you are doing?" I heard a muffled voice say. "U-umm." "My office, now." I snickered under my breath and I heard Hayleigh laugh too.
"Best, day, ever," we said together. I walked out of the stall and waited for her to come out. A couple minutes later she did and we bursted out laughing again.
I checked my phone and I had a text from Triston. "Bitches." I showed it to Hayleigh and she laughed again. "Alright, let's go back to class," she said as she squirted sanitizer into her hands.
"No! I'm not going back there!" I said. "You're right," she said and pulled me along behind her. She dragged me to the lunchroom, and the sophmores were eating lunch.
"We are tall, we can pass for sophmores!" she whispered to me. "There's Allie!" I said and we sat beside her. "Hey, we came here because Geometry is boring as shit," Hayleigh explained.
Allie laughed and nodded. She stuffed a cookie in her mouth and sipped her milk. "Go get something to eat," she giggled at us. We shrugged and went to go get pizza.
Once we got to the front of the line, the lunch lady glared at us. "Aren't you two a little young to be sophmores?" I shook my head. "Nope, we are in Mr. Criener's class."
Good thing I knew most of the tenth grade teachers. "Okay," she finally believed us. I handed her five dollars that paid for both of our lunches and rushed back to Allie.
"Whew." She glanced at us and took a bite of my pizza. "Hey!" I shouted and slapped her arm. "Oww!" I laughed. In some ways, I love high school.
