This chapter contains Wilhelm x Simon smut, just a heads up for y'all <3
Wilhelm walked into his dorm room, his things were in a suitcase that was on the floor. Simon came over to help him unpack.
Whilst they grabbed his clothes and sorted then into the closet, Simon remembered the offer Sara made him. "I could possibly become a border." he said, Wilhelm stopped his movements.
"Really? How?" he asked. Simon looked away. "August.." he began, Wilhelm's expression turned into disgust when he heard the name. "Sara managed to convince him to arrange it. She's going to do it, I'm still not sure.."
Wilhelm shook his head. "You can't accept his offer. No way! Not after what he did to us."
Simon scratched his head. "I agree, but I'm unsure wether I should turn it down, Sara really wants this for me and for her." Wilhelm sighed.
"Well you don't owe it to her, right?" he said. "I know.." Simon started, trailing off into thoughts.
He wondered wether he'd accept the offer if it wasn't coming from August. Sara said it was an awesome opportunity, and she even had a point. If he could become a border, it'd mean lots of great things for him.
He would see Wilhelm more, he would be less of a freak, so maybe the teasing and the judgement from the other students would stop.
But he didn't want to leave his mother either and he most definitely didn't want to become one of those arrogant boarder kids without any authentic personality.
"I don't know." he said, grunting in frustration. Wilhelm walked closer, dropped the sweater onto the floor and hugged him. "That's okay."
They hugged for a while before the door made a creaking noise. "Am I interrupting something?" Wilhelm looked toward the door.
"Leave." he said in a serious, bold voice. "You can't avoid me forever, we're family." Simon grunted and let go of Wilhelm. "Why can't you just leave us alone!"
August gave them an annoyed stare. "You're not family." Wilhelm said, walking foward to face him. "By blood, I'll always be family." he replied. "I just wanted to ask Wille if-"
"Leave us alone." Simon demanded again, August smiled defensively and left. Both Wilhelm and Simon let out a relieved sigh.
The two returned to packing their bags. A few minutes had gone by when Felice knocked on their door. "Hey boys, I just wanted to ask you if you're going to come to the party tonight."
Wilhelm looked at her in confusion. "Party?" he asked. Felice nodded. "We're having a party because you're back at the school, are you coming?"
"Sure." he responded. "Simon?" Felice and Wilhelm looked at him. He shook his head and opened his mouth. "If I'm invited? Yea." he said, Felice nodded. "Of course you're invited." Simon smirked.
A couple minutes of awkward silence went by when Felice left. Simon and Wilhelm looked at each other for a second and then started laughing. "So, the party." Wilhelm smirked. "Do you want to.. show up together?"
Simon smiled happily. He was glad Wilhelm was finally willing to be percieved as who he was, it gave him a weird sense of hope. He knew they were trying to stay friends, but it was progress that he hadn't originally expected.
"Sure." he said, Wilhelm continued unpacking his clothes. He picked up the sweater he had dropped.
Wilhelm looked at Simon for a second. "Meet me here at eight then, okay?" Simon nodded in response. "Alright. I'll go get ready.. and stuff."
