As Remus Lupin was looking over at his class before he began talking, all eyes were on him.

He soon began to take roll call.

"Hermione Granger?"

"Here."

"Dean Thomas?"

"Here."

"Seamus Finnigan?"

There, a name he hadn't seen since Halloween, but have heard every once and a while.

"Harry Potter?"

"Here."

"Draco Malfoy?"

"Ugh, here."

A few more names were called. Then he saw a name that shook him ever-so-slightly. His eyes widened as he kept rereading the name.

"Anne Black?"

"H-here.."

He looked up and did a double-take. There is a spot that he and his friends would sit during DADA, next to the 'Golden Trio.'

Anne looked exactly like her mother from the shade of skin to her eyes, all except her hair, which of course took after her father, messy and a dark brown.

A few more names were called after Anne and then roll call was done.

Class must now begin.

He pulled out a black cabinet.

"Intriguing isn't it?" Remus said, "Would anyone like to venture a guess... as to what is inside?"

"That's a boggart, that is!" Dean Thomas exclaimed.

"Very good, Mr. Thomas. Now can anyone tell me what a boggart looks like?"

"No one knows." A girl by the name of Hermione Granger answered.

"When did she get here!?" Ron muttered to his friend, Harry.

"Boggarts are shapeshifters," Hermione said. "They take the shape of whatever a particular person fears the most. That's what makes them so..." Hermione trailed off.

"So terrifying, yes. Luckily, a very simple charm exists to repel a boggart. Let's practice it now. Without wands please,"

Everyone put their wands away.

"After me, Riddikulus!"

"Riddikulus!" The class exclaimed.

"Very good! But have it a little louder and clearer! Listen Riddikulus!" Remus explained for the 13/14-year-olds.

"Riddikulus!" Everyone exclaimed again but louder and clearer.

"This class is riddikulus." Draco Malfoy muttered to his goons, Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle.

"Very good. The easy part is done, but you see, the incantation alone is not enough! What really finishes a boggart is laughter. You need to force it in a shape you find truly amusing. Let me explain for a visual effect. Uh... Neville, would you join me up here please?" Remus asked the Gryffindor boy. "Hello, Neville, what frightens you most of all?"

"Professor Snape." The boy replied meekly and quietly so no one would hear him.

"Sorry? Could you repeat that?"

"Professor Snape," Neville replied a little louder so that Remus could hear him.

"Professor Snape. Yes, he frightens all." Giggles irrupted in the class by many students, "And I do believe you live with your grandmother?"

"Y-yes, but I don't want that boggart to turn into her, either" Neville stuttered.

"No... it won't. I want you to picture her clothes. Only her clothes, very clearly, in your mind." Remus said to the boy.

"She carries a red handbag..." Neville started to say.

"We don't need to hear. As long as you see it, we'll see it," Remus said, the class started to giggle lightly. "Now, when I open that wardrobe... here's what I want you to do. Excuse me. Imagine Professor Snape in your grandmother's clothes. Can you do that? Yes. Wand at the ready. One, two, three. Think, Neville, think."

"Riddikulus!" Neville exclaimed once the boggart was out. The boggart transformed into Professor Snape wearing a green pantsuit-petty coat thing, along with a massive hat that had an even bigger feather that looked like belonging to a vulture. He was also wearing a cat as a scarf but the cat looked dead. There was also a red handbag which Neville had mentioned before along with black fishnet fingerless gloves. The class irrupted into giggles from seeing their terrifying teacher wearing old ladies' clothes.

"Wonderful, Neville, wonderful! Incredible! Okay... to the back, Neville. Everyone, form a line! Form a line! I want everyone to picture the thing they fear the most and turn it into something funny. Next! Ron! Concentrate. Face your fear. Be brave! Wand at the ready, Ron, wand at the ready." Remus said, calling up Ron Weasley.

Ron's fear was a massive spider that could feast upon the ENTIRE class and more could get Aragog a run for his money. Aragog is a spider that Harry and Ron stumbled upon just last year, trying to find the Chamber of Secrets.

As Ron said the spell to make it funny, it turned into a SPIDER ON ROLLERSKATES! How in the world is that funny? I don't even know, but it was funny since the spider didn't know what to do.

Next was Parvati Patil...

Then Dean Thomas...

Then Seamus Finnigan...

Then Hermione Granger, which just happened to be McGonagall giving her something less than an 'O.'

Then was Anne Black...

Anne's boggart turned into finding someone dead, someone who almost looked like her except her skin was more tan and her hair was lighter but not by much. The eyes were closed but blood was everywhere. In Anne's eyes, tears started to form. Remus quickly didn't want this to happen so he stepped in. His boggart turned into a full moon but when he said the funny word it turned into a white balloon that quickly started to deflate.

"Right. Sorry about that. That's enough for today. Collect your books from the back. That's the end of the lesson. Thank you! Sorry! Sorry, you can have too much of a good thing," Remus said, shooing the kids out of the classroom. "Uh, Ms. Black please come here."

Anne came back to his desk in the front near the cabinet where the boggart was safely stored again. "Yes Professor Lupin?" Anne asked quietly. Remus could tell that she was shy, unlike her father who had a knack for pranks, she seemed to be more introverted like her mother before she met Remus and his friends.

"Do you know who your mother is, Ms. Black?" Remus said gently.

"Um, no sir, I was left with my mother's muggle friend," Anne said, finding her shoes more interesting than the conversation she was having.

"Uh- Well, uh, how about your father?" Remus asked not knowing what to do.

"Nope, but I have been told by my mother's muggle friend, Sofia, that I look like my mother," Anne explained looking up.

"Ah, do you know if they both went to Hogwarts?"

"Yes, they both did. Sofia showed me owls from my mother to explain a boy who had a weird infatuation with her. She described him as 'annoying' and a 'prankster.'" Anne said.

"Well, yes. I do believe that I might've known your parents, but I can't say for certain. Best be off then, oh wait here," Remus handed her a note for the next teacher to have her saying that he was talking to her and that was why she was late. "For your next teacher, so they don't deduct house points for being late."

Anne took the note and scurried off towards her next class of the day.

Remus just couldn't believe the resemblance between her and her mother and father, and how she describes them perfectly, as he looked towards a small picture and smiled.

A picture with James Potter and Isabella Black.
