Humming gently, you finish up and turn the water off, stepping out of the shower and wrapping yourself up in the soft, white towel.

You walk over to the bench near the door and notice an additional top as well as a pair of shorts folded atop it.

You decide the gray shorts and smaller long-sleeve shirt must be Michael's, but eye the temptingly soft and large hoodie set beside them.

A moment later, you slip the warm hoodie over your head and watch as it falls above your knees, almost entirely covering Michael's small shorts underneath.

'Damn, William is tall.'

As you look in the mirror to gently fix your hair, you notice the words written on your chest:

'Afton Robotics, 1983.'

Yawning, you stretch your arms before unlocking the bathroom door and hesitantly peering into the bedroom.

"William?" you call, looking around the room.

'Hmm, I guess he went downstairs.'

Passing his mauve high set bed, you open the bedroom door and begin to step out into the hallway upon deciding to say goodnight to Michael before he goes to sleep.

As you leave, you suddenly notice a familiar glint on the dresser to your left. You lean closer, squinting slightly until you realize what it is.

Knowing William must have taken it, you glance around nervously before grabbing the gold token and quickly sticking it in your hoodie pocket.

'I'm sure it's not important, but it's the only thing that travelled with me... it's mine.'

You then step out of the bedroom and into the hallway.

You softly knock at his already open door before entering, and watch as Michael looks up from his Transformer and excitedly leaps off the bed to greet you.

You smile as you feel his soft, blue flannel pajamas hug you, and gently hug him back before redirecting him to the bed.

"I'll see you in the morning, Michael," you whisper, tucking him into the warm sheets.

"Goodnight, y/n," he smiles sweetly, pausing as he looks up at you.

You can tell he wants to say something else, but it remains a mystery as he shyly decides to brush it off and lifts the comforter to his face before closing his eyes.

"Goodnight, Michael."

Quietly shutting his bedroom door, you think to yourself as you linger in the hallway for a moment before heading downstairs.

'I wonder what William is doing.'

To your confusion, you cannot find him anywhere. Not that you truly searched, apart from looking in several rooms and momentarily scanning the large foyer...

Tired, you plop down on the couch and reach for the remote on the glass coffee table. You can tell that the 'outdated' remote is brand new, and you laugh as you feel its heavy weight.

'At least infrared remotes have just been released by now.'

Nestled on the couch into the same baby blue sherpa blanket as earlier, you feel someone walk up behind you and snatch the remote from your hand before you can press any button.

"Hey!"

You turn around to see William smugly cock his head before speaking.

"I have something better for us to do than watch television."
