Mission Accomplished

"What does it take for a girl to get a break?" You huffed as you sprinted down the long hallway. You'd been running from the gas for what seemed like eons. Every time you thought you found an escape route you'd been met with another wall of deadly poison. To keep from tripping over the long fabric of your new dress you'd used your dagger to shorten the skirt. You felt more than a little guilty at the action, but it had been necessary. You'd laughed a little when you noticed that your shoes were a pale blue version of your favorite high top converse. Apparently your ancestors held a little sense of humor.

Whatever cruel force guided your current life path had finally decided to show you mercy. Not only had you found a passage way empty of poison gas, but a sole guard leaned against the wall. "Finally!" You used the last of your strength to close in on the enemy. "Sorry about this goat man. But mama's fucking tired." You sighed as you locked your lips with his. You felt your exhaustion melt away as his life energy pulsed through you. As soon as you were back to peak form you broke the kiss and proceeded to spit and wipe your mouth. "Learn to brush your teeth!" You whined as the goat man slid down the wall.

The ceiling began to crumble around you as you ran through the halls. A violent slash had destroyed the structural support of the entire lab. "What idiot decided to bring this whole place down?!" Annoyance rang through you as you cried out in frustration. Your foot falls echoed down the crumbling halls as you ran.

Your focus was behind you as you continued your escape. *WHAM* metal collided with soft flesh as you crashed into the biggest cart you'd ever seen. "What was that?" The grumbly voice of Smoker drifted around the cart. You stretched out your sore muscles as you pulled yourself up off the floor. "Hello little fox." Butterflies fluttered in your stomach as silver eyes found you. "What's with the cart?" You giggled as you ran into Law's out stretched arms.

He groaned a little as you squeezed the raven tightly. Relief brought tears to your eyes as you hurried your face in his chest. The sound of his racing heart filled you with joy. "You did it! You got your heart back!" Your voice was muffled by his fuzzy black coat but he understood your words. Smoker gazed at the scene in utter confusion. It was rare enough to see a genuine smile on the doctors face, but even more rare was the hearty laugh that filled the air. You loosened your death grip and looked up to meet his eyes once more. "What's with the outfit?" He chuckled as his hands dug firmly into your waist. "Long story...." You sighed.

A few brief explanations and sweet kisses later you found yourself helping the two men move the massive cart towards building R. Smoker had earned a thump from you as he criticized your mini make out session. It had been deemed important by your standards. Not just because you loved the taste of Law's lips, but for once you got the opportunity to heal his wounds.

"Traffy! Smokey! You made it!" Luffy's light hearted voice brought another wave of relief. You climbed over the cart and waved down at your little brother. "(Y/N)! You're here too?!" He laughed up at you. Only a few members were missing from the crumbling room. You helped smoker move the cart to the now exposed tunnel as Law chewed out your idiot brother for allowing Caesar the chance to escape. Instead of capturing him Luffy had sent him flying, explaining the giant hole leading to the tunnel.

"Knock it off you guys. If we hurry we can still find that creep." You grumbled as you smacked both guys on the back of their heads. Luffy laughed it off easily. Law on the other hand glared down at your form. You stuck your tongue out at him before blowing him a teasing kiss.

"We need to go. It's getting too dangerous to wait any longer!" Sanji announced as the room started to crumble even faster. One by one you helped load up marines and children. A small dragon caught your attention briefly, but there was no time to investigate. Gas was flooding the hall you just came from.

Where are they?

You worried as the last of the kids climbed into the cart. "We can't let Caesar escape! Get your asses on the cart now!" Law growled at the remaining members of your crew. "LUFFY!!!" Choppers voice rang out from behind the quickly closing doors. The last group of marines were carrying one of the children who chopper was sitting on. Brook was next to them carrying a stone body. They barely made it through before the doors slammed shut.

The cart flew down the long tunnel as everyone screamed. You'd picked up a few extra people, thanks to Usopp. He'd befriended some of Caesars lackies. With the crowd of people space in the cart was tight. You smashed up against the steel wall of the cart and the rock hard body of your favorite doctor. He was acting as a kind of shield, protecting you from the crowd. His chin was rested snuggly between the buns on your head. Chaos erupted around Brook and the small dragon. Momo, the dragon, was the Samurai's missing son. He cried for someone to help save his father from the cruel fate of the poison before fainting.

A loud explosion caused Law to press into your soft body even more. "Can't breathe!" You mumbled as you tapped Law's chest. He released his hold on you allowing oxygen to return to your lungs. "That sounded bad..." Nami sighed as Chopper checked on the children. "It was the SAD manufacturing plant." Law mumbled into your hair.

The explosion had boosted the speed of the cart, making the entrance appear that much faster. Gas trailed behind the cart as well as blocked the exit. "Anyone capable of conjuring wind?" Law shifted himself so he faced the crowd of people. Lackies and Marines shouted at him in unison "you expect someone to just be able to do that?!?" Nami giggled before raising her hand. "Oh I can do that!" Once again a Straw Hat came to the rescue.

With the help of Nani's gust sword your group managed to make it out of the tunnel safely. Two of jokers underlings had been battling Franky while he waited for everyone to appear. They took off the moment your group appeared. "Looks like a job for a world class sniper!" Usopp laughed as he prepared his attack. You helped Luffy stop Law from interfering. "If he says he's got this he's got this"
"Don't under estimate our sniper."
"Yeah I'm sick of being on defense. It's time for some offense!" Nami shouted as she and Usopp launched their attacks.

First Nami struck their group with a large bolt of lightning. Then Usopp released a flurry of stones at them knocking them from the sky. He'd hidden a set of sea prism stone handcuffs in the mix, which latched on to Caesar. The first part of the pirate alliance plan to take down an emperor was finally complete.

Everyone sat around partying, much to the grumpy doctors dismay. He didn't think there was time to be goofing off, and honestly he was probably right. With the SAD factory destroyed and the successful capture of the only man who could produce it, Joker would be making a move. He'd wandered off for a bit to remove the rest of the drug infecting the children. Chopper had ignored his warning to stay away and was horribly scarred from the scene he'd witnessed. It had looked like Law was slaughtering the children. But he was only cutting out the drug using his op-op powers.

"Cheer up buttercup. Learn to enjoy the little breaks in life!" You shoved a massive mug of booze in the doctors hands before plopping down on the ground next to him. Kinemon, the samurai, had been revived and had gladly created another warm coat for you to snuggle into. "Easier said than done. You're all idiots for thinking we have time for this shit." He grumbled as he took a sip of the booze. You just giggled before joining him in his drink.

With full bellies and an assortment of strange goodbyes it was time to leave Punk Hazard. The children had been left in the care of the Marines, after a heart touching moment between Tashigi and Nami. Kinemon and Momonoske had decided to tag along with the Straw Hats, as you shared a common destination. Caesar wasn't happy about being held prisoner on the 1000 Sunny, and his whining had already begun to annoy you beyond belief.

Your annoyance was soon beaten into submission by the fact you finally got to travel with your love once again. His arms wrapped around your waist, holding you close to his body. Your own hands pressed firmly against his solid chest as you lost yourself in his gold and silver eyes. You were beyond grateful that you had your own private quarters on the large ship. "See I told you everything would be fine." You giggled as you pulled him in for a passionate kiss. He smiled against your lips as he lifted you up and pressed you against the wall.

"We'll have to see about that." His breath tickled your neck as he placed delicate kisses against your flesh. Based on the heat radiating from your bodies and the heavy scent of lust in the air you were in for one hell of a night.
