You could feel the blush coloring your freckled cheeks as Law sat mere inches from your face. His hands worked quickly to rewrap your wounds. They hadn't needed to be changed, being a mere few hours old, but the doctor needed to save face. He wasn't ready to admit he'd just wanted to drag you out of view of his men. "You should have just asked me. I could have given you new clothes (Y/N)-ya." He grumbled. Everytime he said your name the heat in your face rose. There was no way of denying you'd begun to fall for the captain. The late night talks over coffee, the stupid arguments over bread, the way he tried to hid the fact he cared by putting up his annoying grumpy act. The way his stare seemed to find yours whenever you were close. It was hopeless to deny.

"Awe but then I would have never gotten to see you lose that cool composure." The teasing words had drawn his eyes to yours once more. The golden color had darkened a bit, matching your own golden orbs. "We'll be leaving soon." His words stung a little. You'd talked it over during the feast. You planned on staying with your brother, which meant your time with the Heart Pirates was coming to its end. "I'd like it if our paths crossed again..." his breath felt hot on your face as he spoke. He was now close enough that your noses brushed. You couldn't escape the hold his gaze had on you. Butterflies fluttered in your abdomen, a lump caught in your throat. You'd never felt anything quite like this attraction, and you weren't exactly sure what to do. "I-I'd like that." You finally managed. A lustful smirk crossed his beautiful lips, as he finally closed the distance.

Heat rushed throughout your entire body as he kissed you. His energy rushed to your injuries as he dug his hands into your hips. He took advantage of the small gasp that escaped your lips at his touch. His tongue playfully wrestled your own as he pulled you off the bed and onto his lap. Your hands easily found their way around his neck as you pulled yourself even closer to him. The softness of your bust opposing the hardness of his built chest. Eventually he succeeded in his task, tossing you onto his bed before locking the door behind him. When his eyes found yours once more you could sense the same hunger fueling his actions.

Pinning your arms above your head his lips began to kiss every inch of you. His teeth grazed your collar bone before the kisses trailed down your stomach. You awoke in Law's arms. Soft snores tickled your ear as his face laid buried in your neck. You shifted a little so you could face him. His face looked so peaceful as he slept, you couldn't help but smile before you burrowed yourself into his chest. It had been a long time since you'd slept that well. "Morning, beautiful." The doctor's low grumble startled you. "D-did I wake you?" You asked as you put just enough space between you to look him in the face. He lazily smiled at you before placing a light kiss on your forehead. "Don't worry about it."

Unfortunately time did not stop as you had wished, meaning you'd eventually had to get up. Law handed you a pair of his sweats and an extra t-shirt to change into after your shower. He'd been a little embarrassed to admit he didn't want anyone else to see you in anything as revealing as your Amazon Lily attire. You just giggled as you pecked him on his cheek. "These are more my style anyways." The clothes were baggy but comfortable as you slipped into them. Plus they smelled like the man who had officially stolen your heart a few hours ago. "I haven't slept more than 2 hours in a long while. That was nice." You sighed as you flopped back onto his bed, watching your man as he pulled on his own clothes. A heaviness hung in the air. Neither of you was quite ready to acknowledge the truth. You both weren't ready to say goodbye.

The late night shenanigans had healed your body fully, but your heart hurt even more as you said your goodbyes. After they left you turned your attention to the group who sat chatting around your brother as he stuffed his face full of food. Hancock was babbling something about her love for the kid. While her sisters and the old queen spoke to Rayleigh. Jinbei joined them after getting a death threat from Hancock for taking too much food from Luffy. Sighing, you collected yourself and headed over to join the conversation.

This ended up being a lot shorter than I originally planned, but I was in a rush because I had to go to work.
