4.1 Host was an Egg!

When Host regained his consciousness, he was seemed to be confined in a small space. He doesn't know where he was or what was he at the moment but he was feeling uncomfortable and wary at the same time. 

'Where in what world am I anyway? and What am I right now?! I want to break free so bad but I feel weak inside this space...Where the hell is that Feline System?!' The Host cannot help but grumble as he stays suspended in the small cramped space. 

What the host doesn't know, was that he was inside a sacred egg that was a very precious entity in the cultivation world he was currently in. 

The mission world is called Re: The Golden Egg of the Century! Yes! It's a novel-based mission world now! 

The novel tackles the normal cultivation progress with five male leads, all aiming to be the King of their country- Luminance Country which is the very heart of the novel! The choice, however, will be decided upon the golden egg that will be received at the very end of the competition. It will strengthen the King by a million folds! and endless treasures and various artifacts that could be used to attain immortality could be in his grasps! This novel has the action! adventure! friendship! as well as camaraderie and bromance! A very interesting novel indeed! 

The Male leads of this story at the current moment were just toddlers who were safe and protected from their family's courtyards. There is a rule in this cultivation world that children who reach the age of ten will only be then eligible to enter the five major sects in the Luminance Country, these sects are The Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, and Darkness Sect! 

These Sects had been established together with the First King of the Luminance Country, and ever since, these Sects have been producing many top-tier cultivators that could be on par with the mightiness of the First King.

On a small island that is a thousand miles away from the Luminance Country, was a small and poverty-stricken land that was governed by a scum king. The citizens of this island were all thin and cowering in fear from the wrath of their King. They were not educated, they were simple-minded and they dare not to dream big that will attract the eyes of their fearsome and scum King. 

This island is not very popular- in fact, it was, indeed, not part of the novel nor was it part of the Luminance Country. And that was a fact that the scum King knew when he took the throne, and that was something that he cannot accept at all!

"This King is being slighted! Just because they have the bigger land and greater resources, Those people dare to not acknowledge my being and this country! I will make them pay back a hundred folds!" The Scum King slammed his fist on his golden throne as he glared at the ministers below him. His plan? To steal the Golden Egg located at the middle of the Luminance City- in the Throne Room of the Luminance Palace! It took him five years of exquisite planning, from his group of assassins to the routes and alternative routes they will take to steal and replace the Golden Egg, and extra precautions if his men meet any mishap. The goal is to steal that golden egg and bring it back to him no matter what the cause will be!

With a fake golden egg to replace the original, they will use the golden egg and hatch it, and let it lead him to the endless piles of treasures and artifacts that will make him the next King of the Luminance Country! 

And that is the current location of the Host at the moment, He is the snatched Golden Egg in the Luminance City- The true guardian and the one true pet of a King! As soon as the golden egg was in the grasp of the Scum King, he cannot his joy and overflowing greed possess the egg and be the TRUE KING!

"Prepare a feast! Invite everyone on the island! Tell them the news that this King will ascend to immortality!" The King cannot contain his excitement as he told his servants to spread this news and prepare himself for this special event! 

The event he wants will be in three days, and every servant he has in the palace were in a hurry to create and decorate the throne room where his ascension will happen. From expensive silks to pieces of gold ornaments- everything that will scream the glamorous wealth of the king and the extreme importance of this event. 

For five years and three days, only by then did the Host found out the nature of this world and his role. Three days before the event, only did the Host found out the selection of his missions from the system and the particular mission he had to do to get his identity fragment in this world. After three days, his target character will appear and whisk him away from this scum king's possession. 

'Being a bystander in the first half of the mission world, IT'S A WASTE OF MY TIME! (〃＞目＜)'-The Host was thinking back on the wasted time that he spent inside the golden egg, and he was even banned to break it by himself! There was some kind of force that kept the shell strong and solid- as if it was a real golden egg, and it irked the Host so much that he spent the remaining three days kicking the shell with futile results. 

'Anyways! I should look at the missions one more time so that I won't be wasting any more time when I get out of here,'-The Host thought before he opened the status window and the list of missions appeared. 

'Hmmm... Making the Villain King, taking treasures, shutting up some fodders' mouth about Light spirits... Hmmm, what else? Oh! That cultivation process as well! That's about that from the system, as for getting my identity... hmmm? Destroy a painting? Ehh??? Where's this painting?!' The Host's head started to throb while looking at his personal mission. Which painting should he destroy?! Why was it not specified? Scam! This mission is a scam!
