Ahmya was staring at Hawks with a glare.
"Ahmya?" The pig squealed.
"Tch. Nothing," she looked away.
Was he watching the whole time?
Ahmya sat with Gowther, her eyes closed as the situation was explained to Merlin. Ahmya looked at her teammates. Chandler will likely return given their current conditions. Escanor was not well and Merlin's power was sealed. Changing Diane back also put a bit of strain on her powers...well that was probably because of Chandler.
When Meliodas wakes up, things would definitely go astray and he'd do something foolish. Duke has also been blocking off her connection with the Kin, with his powers he is most likely aware of her situation.
Ahmya opened her eyes, the air seemed heavy. She stood approaching King who dropped his head into her shoulder.
"You okay?"
"...yeah,"
"It's the miasma Meliodas is leaking. The negative energy is growing stronger by the second," Ahmya said raising her hand sending off a burst of white energy that cleared their air inside the tavern.
"I'll take him outside for some air," she said looking at Merlin. "You should revert to normal with your spell ball."
She picked Meliodas up by his arm and put it around her neck. She left after reassuring Elizabeth that they'll be fine.
She sat with Meliodas laid in her lap.
"For someone who is supposed to be weaker than me, you sure do cause a lot of issues...I wonder how you plan on breaking this curse,"
Ahmya leaned her head back and let her mind wander.
The truth about the beginning.
God made the universe. He made the world, the stars, the land the ocean. He brought night and day.
Well that's is what is written in Genesis. The people called it the old religion saying that god did nothing for them whereas the goddess clan protected them from the demons.
In the beginning, there was The Mother of Chaos. Who decided to make the world and in doing so made the image of man himself, God. Then God made the world according to the will of chaos. Next came hell, Ahmya did not care for the drama before it. Lucifer, her father was sent to manage it.
Whereas Hell's demons tried to manipulate the races that walked the Earth at the time, heaven barely answered any prayers that were in their favour.
When the flood came soon after heaven made the goddess clan and hell and the demon clan...
Is what most are taught.
The truth is an angel of God left heaven and Lucifer's most trusted friend wanted more power.
So the angel became the Supreme Deity and the demon became the Demon King.
Chaos loved it and even granted the two blessings before they made the other races. Heaven and Hell were practically cast aside.
Chaos made the world.
Chaos made the five races.
Lucifer and God just went with the flow of things, even adding other races that branched off each other.
Vampires, Elementals, Shapeshifters...etcetera.
Ahmya leaned back as she stroked Meliodas hair.
"... I'm with you, till the die I day..."
" I don't think I can stand by those words anymore. Can you?"
