FOR THE LOVE OF A DEMON

chapter 5: Somethings Wrong

 I stared at Meliodas' new uniform as he showed it to Elizabeth. Gowther said something about his beloved and that what he was wearing was picked by her. I looked at what Gowther was wearing before chugging my beer and refilled it.

King then appeared and I frowned his outfit may not have changed but the helmet on his hood is definitely new. I almost said something very rude at that moment but decided against it. He asked us if we saw Diane and right on time she appeared by the window telling us to come outside.

They went outside but I stayed by the bar until Meliodas grabbed me by my hood causing me to let out a choking noise. We walked outside and Diane stood there in all her glory also in a new outfit. Diane said she got two outfits from Merlin and trouble choosing which one. The said mage who had appeared next to us and mentioned she only remembered giving her one.

Must be King since he had that weird look on his face.

The walking dead then exited Boar Hat not wearing his new outfit. Apparently, that did not sit well with your big friendly giant as she was now pouting in the tired man's face.

When did this suddenly become a gathering?

I rolled my eyes at Ban and Diane, I'm not sure when King got involved but one thing's for sure.

I miss my forest.

The captain then spoke to us about the ceremony, where we are receiving our medals or some shit, it will be held tomorrow and today we are to celebrate.

"I think I'm going to head out," I said making Diane gasped.

"You're leaving?"

"Well yeah, you found me to help the kingdom, we helped the kingdom. I'm leaving," I said turning away only to be stopped by Elizabeth hugging me.

"Lady Ahmya," I froze and shook my head.

How am I supposed to find the seal if she is always doing this?

"No, don't do this. You're taller than me now. You aren't allowed to-" my words were cut off when I saw her face. 

She had unshed tears and that stupid look.

"Ahmya," I rolled my eyes at the look she gave me.

"I hate that stupid look,"

I cursed silently before gently pushing her away from me.

"I guess I'm staying. Now, what were you saying about celebrating," I sighed before smiling.

I sat on top of the Boar Hat 'hiding' from Ban and Meliodas. I wasn't eavesdropping but I just happened to hear what they were talking about. When Meliodas left I jumped down causing King and ban to look at me. I waved before heading inside with Meliodas by now I didn't know how drunk I was but it wouldn't last long. I went upstairs dragging Meliodas with me, I pushed him onto the bed and climbed over him.

"I don't understand why people think you're a kid, you look like a teenager and act over a thousand years old," I rolled off of him and laid next to him.

"You okay?" I nodded.

"You slept with me last night and I didn't have a nightmare..." he chuckled and sat up.

"Get dressed and I'll ask Merlin to close up,"

I did what he said and a moment later he was holding me in his arms.

"I like this feeling," I smiled snuggling into his chest.

"What feeling?"

"The feeling of peace, no demons, no wars, no servants and sins. Just serenity. I wish I could have this," I felt myself get to calm and my eyes changed colour.
