The minute Thomas Jefferson walking into the room Hamilton didn't like him. He was loud, extra, and extremely annoying.
But something, deep down, was familiar and strange about him, maybe it was his love of France, maybe it was the fact that he refused to be personal to anyone except for James Madison, who also seemed familiar. But these thoughts were pushed deep, 10 feet under a million other thoughts.
Despite all that, they both have silently named each other their enemies. They never liked each other, and they never will. But sometimes things don't go to plan.

Peggy sipped her cup of tea as she waited for Lafayette and Mulligan to arrive for their weekly updates. She immediately sat up when she heard the door open.
"Hello, mademoiselle!" Lafayette grinned as he appeared at the door way. He seemed a lot happier then usual. Peggy guessed it was because he was allowed to relax his voice and use his French accent freely.
"Hi! What's it like being against Hamilton instead of with him?" Peggy asked.
"They fought for at least 2 hours every day." Mulligan answered, a clear tone of exhaustion in his voice. Lafayette looked extremely sheepish.
"I never realised how annoying he is until now." Lafayette weakly tried to defend himself with a shrug of his shoulders.
Peggy softly chuckled at the man's excuse but she quickly straightned her posture.
"I have got a new idea." the two men turned to the cunning woman and looked at her with expectant eyes that read "go on".
Peggy smirked devilishly and explained her plan.
"The Hamiltons are going upstate this summer, they've even invited Angelica to go with them. But, Alexander is refusing to go so he can get his plan through to you two. I know how stubborn he is and I haven't been invited to join them, surprise, surprise-" Peggy looked angry, but you could see the shine of some tears in her eyes. "-so my amazing plan is that I'm going to seduce him." Mulligan spat his drink out.
"WHAT THE FUCK PEGGY!" Mulligan screamed. Peggy just continued smirking. Lafayette just looked at her with a "are you sure?" face.
"I've gotten into quite a few men's pants." she shrugged.
"PEGGY!" Mulligan gasped. "That's extremely inappropriate!"
Peggy just smiled at him innocently.
"They'll get what they deserve for ignoring me.."
