Its been a few days since Nessa's and I's nail appointment. The nails were all still in tact no missing nails or chip's. I was happy with them. It was my first time getting my nails done by that specific nail artist. It seems as though Nessa had gotten her nails done by this lady a few times.
They engaged in small chit-chat while she did her nails, I decided to keep quiet slightly nervous at the amount of people working on my hands. I felt as if I moved my hand I would mess it all up, to say that I was nervous was a huge understatment.
I was laying in my bed when I texted my mom asking she wanted to hang out today. I hadnt really seen her at all, she has some friends out here in LA. I know that yesterday she was at Avani's house. Avani's mom and mine have been friends for a long time.
Avani and I were friends but we hadnt really hung out since I moved, her makeup colab with Morphe had recently been released. We've facetimed a few times but we have yet to met up.
By the time I was done thinking my mom had already replied.

𝐌𝐞 Hey mom, do you wanna come over later? I can pick you up at like 10?
𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 Sure sweetie, 10:30 maybe im with Melissa.

Melissa was my mom's high school bestfriend, she had moved out to LA for her husband. That didnt end well but shes doing good. Her kids are really sweet I used to babysit them when they were like 5.
I think there all like 13 now, that made me feel extremly old. As a child I was never home not because I had a million friends it was because I didnt wanna hear the screaming and shouting at home. I could never bring my few friends over to my house.
Atleast that was in the past now, now I can finally live like Ive always wanted to. I can go out all night, I cab drink as much energy drinks as I wanted to, hell I could even have a boyfriend.
It was now 9:23 am. I got out of bed, took a quick shower and did my morning routine. I was searching through my closet for an outfit that still looked cute but something my mom would approve of. I choose a simple outfit to suit the I was gonna take my mother.

I stopped at walmart to pick up a few items for our picnic.
I drove over to the field to seat it up, it was less than 10 minutes from my mother's hotel. I arrived at her hotel just in time to see Melissa hop into her car and drive off.
My mom made her way to my car and got into the passenger seat. We spoke a little before we arrived to the field. My mom's facial expression was priceless, she thought that we were gonna hang out at sway.
My mom made her way to the picnic blanket I had set down about 20 minutes ago. She sat down while I went to the back of the car to get the bag's out of the trunk. She looked so peaceful sitting on the blanket. I took a photo of her and posted it along with a few other photo's.

We were just talking about random things when I noticed that the sky had began to darken, my mother had noticed it too. She insisted that we leave and go back to sway. Shes been wanting to talk to Bryce about his recent scandal.
We gathered all the stuff and and I drove towards Sway. It was now about 6:33 pm, my mom was going to stay in the guest room.
We were all watching some random japanese movie that was on TV. I decided to call it a night due to the fact I had a major assigment to do.

Heyy. I had to re-write the conversation between Y/n and her mother quite a few times. Whenever I read it, it sounded like Y/n had no respect for her mother.
