KANE POV
I saw how Jaxons wolf submitted to that human. His wolf was taller then her, and yet, he just submitted like a pathetic dog. He bowed his head down to a fucking human. The prince of seventeen packs in this town. The son of the Alpha King bowed to a human.
This is not acceptable.
It took everything in me to not run and rip out her throat as my son bowed his head. My wolf growled "Our son! Bowing to a human?!"
"I know, Phoenix. That boy will reject her one way or another."
"Kill her."
"You know I can't. If I lay a finger on her, he will snap. He will go to war and you know everyone will be against us."
"She's a human, Kane. Nobody will care."
"Jaxon and Tanner will. Lucy and Aurora will."
He growled in the back of my head "I hate that Lucy and Aurora takes her side. I hate it so much." I say "I know, Phoenix. But we need to be smart about this. We need to think of every step." I let Phoenix come out and my vision turned gray.
I ran back to my pack and as soon as they saw my wolf, they all kneeled. Every men, women and pup. They all kneeled and bowed their heads to me. This is exactly what I want for my son. I want him to feel the power that I feel. The smell of their fears radiating off their body for me. Because of me. They know who their king is. They know who their Alpha is. Fear is what keeps discipline. That is what I'm trying to teach Jaxon for the past thirty years. I want that all for him- all the respect, fear, discipline- I want him to have it all after Lucy is gone because I know I'd be too broken to perform my own Alpha duties.
Phoenix heard my thought and says " If he stays with that human, then he'll have nothing. He will be nothing." I reply "And I'm never gonna let that happen, Phoenix. Ever."
I ran to the prison and mind linked my Beta"Claude, meet me at the prison with clothes."

As I reach there, I saw Claude already standing there with jeans and a shirt. Six warriors, plus prison guards standing behind him. I turned back into my human body and took my clothes from him. As I put on my jeans, I said"Claude, I want the new rogue in the interrogation room with our special supplies." He did not dare question me. He gave me a nod and said"Yes, Alpha King" walking inside with two warriors. I buttoned my shirt and asked the guards"Who was here when the prince came to visit alone?" One of the guards stepped forward and kneeled down with his head bowed "I, my king." I again asked"Did you hear what he had to say to the prisoner?" He lowered his head in submission "N-no, my king."
