LUZ POV
After explaining to Mia why she couldn't come over I walked home. As soon as I got into my room I looked for my basketball jersey and shorts. Tonight was the first game of the season Willow, Gus, and Amity would be there. As soon as I put on my uniform I ran downstairs and grabbed my bag with no hesitation. I walked out the house and started to walk to get ready for the game. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with my friends as we walked to the gym I noticed Mia standing outside the the gym staring at her phone, but at soon as she saw us she ran over to us. Before the game started I ran to the bathroom. As I splashed my face with water I heard the door open. I dried my face only to turn and see Mia.
"What do you want?" I asked as I took more paper towel
"Why can't I'm see a good friend why before there basketball game." Mia asked
"Because I'm trying to prepare myself to play my first basketball game against-- You know why am I telling you that." I said
"You know what could you just get Amity I need to talk to her." I said as I threw away the paper towel
"I don't think I should I saw her flirting with someone on the other team." Mia said
"WHAT." I exclaimed
"Yea." Mia said
"No Amity would never." I said reassuring my self that it was somebody else with lavender hair
"Well she was believe me." Mia said
"Why should I believe you." I asked
"Because during tryouts she told me about it." Mia said as I walked out the door and went to the gym. The game started shortly after I went over to my team. My coach had already made out a paly and who were the starters. Which I wasn't one of them. Seven minutes in the game my coach called for a sub so I went in. I played the the rest of the quarter thinking if what Mia said true, only to get hit in the head with a basketball. After the quarter was done I sat on the bench for the whole second quarter. When it came to half I took my phone and texted Amity to meet me in the bathroom. When she walked in she look concerned.
"Luz nice job out there, but why do you keep spacing out?" Amity said
"I keep spacing out because Mia said that you were flirting with someone on the other team." I said
"That isn't true." Amity said
"How can I know it's not true." I asked
"Well would you rather believe someone who has been trying to get in between are relationship or me?" she asked
"You." I answered
"Alright go back out there and win." Amity said
