I smile daydreaming as Mom places my plate down in front of me.

"Why are you so happy?" She asks snapping me out of my trance.

"Oh! I..ahh.. just had a nice dream is all."

"Really? What was it about! Tell me tell me!" She sounds like a high school girl wanting gossip.

I blush softly. He's in my bed right now. I'm so happy I could kill myself.

"Uhh well, isn't today I should get my katana?" I ask changing the subject.

She makes a sad face. "Indeed it is. It's only been two days, you sure they will have it fully ready?" She asks.

I nod. "They sent me an email telling me to come pick it up." I tell her eating my morning breakfast.

"Yippee! We can go after breakfast! I'll go get changed." She hurries away.

I carefully watch as she goes up the stairs and to her room. I get up and grab another plate from the cabinet and fix some more food. I take the plate upstairs and open my door and locking it back.

His eyes met mine. "Hey." His morning voice was deep and calm.

"I brought you some breakfast. Mom's in her room right now changing. We'll be gone for about a hour an a half." I tell him sitting beside him on the bed.

He sits his head on my shoulder and I see his finger twitch.

"How long has it been since you've killed someone?" I ask.

"Since the night we had sex." He tells me. "Feels awkward.." he balls his hand in a fist.

"I know you go out every night, but why don't you settle the urge?" I ask.

He shrugs.

"Well, here." I say handing him the plate.

He lifts his head off me and stares at the plate of food. "Mhmm.... I'll eat it later." He sets it down on my lamp stand and gets back under the covers.

"You said that last morning." I sigh. Maybe he's not a morning person.

I go into my closet picking out some clothes and getting dressed into them. I look back to Jackson who's sleeping silently as a little newborn. So cute so cute so cute.

I walk over taking a better peek. He quickly turns over and grabs me by the neck, and pull me down on him.

"I thought you were asleep."

"Thought you were gone."

".....I love you." I say kissing his head.

"Denied." He tells me.

I cry on the inside, but I kiss him again. "I'll be back soon. Don't get caught. You know they're looking for you since they finally got your DNA off that woman."

He nods turning back over. "I know that. That's why I haven't killed anyone in the past days."

"Okay then, see you later." I whisper.

I walk out the room locking it as Mom come out fixing her hair into a small back bun.

"Ready, kiddo?" She asks smiling.

I nod and we leave the house. We get to the store and walk up to the counter seeing the same girl from a few days ago.

She jumps seeing me and gets excited. "It's you! Yaay! Your item is ready!" She says hurrying to the back and running back out almost tripping.

"She's a awfully happy." Mom mumbles to me.

I nod as she sets a long box down on the counter. "Thank you so much! Does it have the words I asked to be written on it?"

She nods. "Indeed it does!" She says staring at me.

I look down at the box, she looks down at the box. I blink at her, she blinks at me. "Soo..."

"So?" She repeats.

"Um.."

"Oh! Please, have a look. I want to see if you like it or not." She tells me finally.

"Alright." I say pulling the box closer to me. I open it up slowly seeing the black shaft that it's held in. I pick it up taking the shaft off and seeing it in its full glory.

"Wow... it looks nice." Mom says in amazement.

"Yeah it does. Uh.. oh- Thank you! I appreciate what you have done for me!" I bow to the girl.

She waves her hand. "No no, thank you! I hope you like it a lot. Not many people get a customized wakizashi." She smiles.

I gulp. Finally... "Really. They're cooler than katanas sometimes."

"Ready to go?" Mom nudges me as I stare at my small sword.

"Yeah, let's go." I put the sword in it's shaft and into it's box grabbing it.

"Alright, have fun and use it properly." She tells me as we leave the shop.

We walk back home and Mom looks at her watch as she opens the door.

"Only 2 hours passed. Nice!" She goes in.

I run up the stairs and see Jackson not in my bed anymore. I sigh. I guess he left for his usual night out.

I sit down on my bed and open my box back up grabbing the sword out.

"She called it a wakizashi. What does that mean?" Mom asks coming into my room. She sniff around for a moment. "Hm.. you're room smells a little different."

"Uh.. I got new shampoo." I tell as she sits on my bed beside me. "Wakizashi is sort of the name for a smaller type katana."

"Awesome. But.. why did you have that engraved on it?"

"Have what?" I ask.

"Those words. 'Kindly as I may, I slay my only begged Love'. Hmhm! It's a strange thing to put on it." She says.

My shoulders drop a bit. "Mom..."

"Yes?"

"What would you do if you wanted to marry someone who.. does bad things?" I ask.

She gives me a bit of a widened look. "Ummm.." she thinks. "I don't know, really. For us to be together, I'd want him stop doing those bad things. Y'know.. make a change in him?" She suggests.

Could I.. make a change in Jackson?
