Chapter Eight: Kindly as I may, I Slay my begged Love

I sit in the living room on the couch as Mom finishes the dishes. I turn on the news and listen in eating a small bag of chips.

"Tonight on your news we have Jiro Kagurami here to tell you the night's news!"

Kagurami: "Thank you. For tonights news we have over 2 killings done tonight. The cops have found the culprit is named Jackson Edemura. A murder who's already killed over 10 victims during the past years."

My eyes widen as they show him on tv in an alleyway surrounded by cops and helicopters. My heart sink and my body jumps up. Jackson...

"Something wrong, honey-

I take off up stairs grabbing my sword and run back down grabbing the doorknob and run out the door. Jackson...

He was near the club a few blocks down from my house. I know exactly the quickest way to get there.

I run and run, hoping he doesn't get taken in before I get there. I push pass people and jump through bushes, finally making there.

I pant. "Jackson...." I look over seeing cops blocking people's way from trying to see for themselves. I run over pushing all of them out of the way. I make my way to the front and the police stops me.

"Hey kid, stand back before you get hurt-

"Let me in!" I say taking out my katana and stabbing him through the neck. "I need to get to Jackson!" I yell taking my katana out of him and run pass him. "Jackson!" I scream getting through and running to him.

Jackson's holding his hands up for surrendering with his head down.

"Asa..?" He looks up in shock.

I wrap my arms around his neck panting and shaking. "You're okay... Thank God."

"What are you doing here?" He asks putting his hands around my waist and body. "You shouldn't have came."

"Hey! Get that kid out of there!" The cops yells in the back.

"Don't say that. I can't let you go off away from me. I can't let you die in the hands of them. Jackson..." I tell him, my voice shaking and body trembling.

He sighs putting his head in my shoulder. "You're crazy to want to be with me."

"I'll do anything for you, Jackson."

"Asa! What are you doing?!" I hear Mom's voice and flinch.

"Hold your guns men!"

"They'll take you from me." I whisper to him.

"Yeah.. they will."

I pull myself away from him for a second and stare him in the eye. "But I want to forever be with you. Even if that means.."

"That means...?" He repeats. His eyes glow wide and he makes a smile. "Yeah..."

I hug him again. He tightly hugs me so hard I hear his scared heart pump like a racing car. I smile pulling my katana from my hands and taking it out the shaft.

"Asa!!" Mom calls my name as I hold the blade to his back.

"I love you, Jackson." I say holding him closer.

"What is he doing...."

"Yeah, I know. I can't seem to be without you either." Jackson tells me as I feel his gun on my back. I locate his heart with my sword. "I love you." He says as I stab my katana through his back and heart.

He shoots me through my back and slowly chuckles. The pain submerges with my mind and I start to cry.

"Asa!!!!"

Mom, I know you said change them, but I don't know how I was ever going to change Jackson from killing, and I wanted to be with Jackson no matter how deadly he is. All the memories I had are rushing at me now. I don't want to live if I can't live with Jackson. I love him, and now that he said this, I'm at peace. My blade was made specifically for him, for my love that I cherish so much. I would want to be the only person to kill him, bring him to peace.
