You woke with a start, jolted from your million-year-long nap. It wasn't something big, no, what woke you was a small movement, like a nod of a head or the snap of two fingers. But to you, it was huge, like a star had exploded kind of huge, sending a massive wave of invisible sparkly space radiation all the way to your hiding place.
It terrified you. Not because of what it was, but because you knew what had happened.
Someone had used the stones. The six gems you'd carefully hidden all those years ago, and someone had located, gathered, and used all six.
Unfolding yourself out of the tiny crevice on the large space rock you'd concealed yourself in, you stretched out your cramped body, floating in the zero-gravity environment.
It was time for you to dust yourself off and find the source of the problem.
You let your magic flow through your body, purple eyes shining. You faced your palms downwards, expelling a powerful force from your hands. Shooting forward, you set your destination as the source of your awakening - Planet Earth.

You landed on the surface of Titan, purple magic expelling around you, and without meaning to toot your own horn, it looked pretty epic.
After making it halfway to Earth, another super-sonic, god-waking wave of sparkly space radiation stopped you in your tracks. Immediately changing course, it took a few hours for you to reach Saturn's moon.
Quickly taking in your surroundings, you realized that the person who had used the stones was not alone. You hastily made your way up the path and into the small house, bursting through the door to see a purple, injured man surrounded by a group of people, who you sensed were very powerful. You also knew right away that the purple-grape man was the culprit from the black wounds all over his right hand.
Everyone turned to look at you and seemed to be taken aback by your glowing purple eyes. You took a few steps forward, and a hunk of grey metal moved forward to try to stop you, shooting a beam of light at your chest. "Stand down Sparky." It said in the voice of a human male.
The light beam didn't effect you, and standing in front of the purple man, you grit your teeth in anger. "So," You began, not sparing the group around you a second glance. "You're the rock collector that woke me up?"
A woman from behind you spoke up. "Who are you, and what do you want?"
"I am here for the same reason as you, Carol Danvers." You kept your eyes on the man who woke you, staring down at him. "Now, Mr shrively Grape-man, or who ever you are, tell me this. Did you really destroy them?"
You already knew the answer.
"I did. It nearly killed me." The man looked down at his shrivelled, blackened arm.
Kneeling down, you raised your right fist. "See, that's were you're wrong. As long as I am around, there will always be at least one infinity stone." Opening your hand, the Power Stone bathed the shack in a purple glow.
The group seemed amazed. "How..." The man in front of you began.
"Well, Thanos," You stood up again. "I'm the Purple Watcher, bitch, and you woke me up by destroying the only thing left of my siblings."
Thanos seem shocked. "But... the Watchers are just myths, none of them exist."
You turned away, observing the group around you for the first time. "Watcher. Singular. There's just one. Not six. Not anymore."
The man in a grey metal suit looks devastated. "We have to tear this place apart. Sparky's got one stone, surely the others are around here somewhere."
"My father is many things." A blue android woman stepped forward. "A liar is not one of them."
"Ah, thank you, daughter." Thanos smiles weakly and the blue lady looks uncomfortable. "Perhaps I treated you too harshly."
You turn around quickly, seeing a man is a cape raise a large axe. "No! Don't-" But it is too late.
Thanos' body falls, limp, to the ground, his head rolling away. You wipe a splatter of blood from your face.
"What... What did you do?" Someone asks.
The man with the axe looks, defeated, broken almost. "I went for the head." Grabbing his weapon, he leaves.
You squat down on your hunches, staring at the stone in your hands. This was it. This was all you had left, the only reminder of your life before.
The grey hunk of metal approaches you, his helmet flicking off to reveal his face. "You ok Sparky?"
Looking up at him, a single tear falls down your cheek. "This is all I have left Rhodey. Everything else is gone."
He smiled sympathetically. "Come with us, Sparky. We can trade stories later."
Five minutes later you were seated in the jet the group had used to get the Titan. You knew you could have just flown to Earth, but you wanted to establish to this group of 'Avengers' that you weren't an enemy. A few times, a small furry person called Rocket tried to take the Power Stone from you, but you kept your grip, refusing to let go of the one reminder of home.

You sat in the Avengers compound, surrounded by confused and heartbroken people. It hurt you to see the universe you and your family had made crumble at the feet of a few rocks.
Letting out a tired sigh, you lifted the stone to your forehead, and when it touched your skin it formed a golden circlet across your head. (A/N, just imagine Sailor Moon's tiara but with a purple rock instead lol) Looking around at the Avengers, you saddened slightly.
"I'm sorry." You began. "I could have stopped all this."
The man named Tony Stark smiled at you weakly from across the room. "It's alright, glow-worm, you couldn't have done anything."
You stifled a laugh. "Oh, but I could have, and instead I was too busy HIDING and wallowing in SELF-PITY!" The group seemed taken aback by your sudden outburst of rage at yourself. "Thanos said it himself. I'm a Watcher. The Watcher. It was my job to protect those stupid rocks. And I failed."
Standing up, you walked towards the door. Steve blocked your path.
"We can't just let you leave. You have the power stone. The last infinity stone in existence."
"Fine." You turned back around and stared out the window, tears glistening in your now dull purple eyes. "I guess your stuck with me.
