Chapter one

"Alec, are you almost done up there? We need to leave soon." Mom yelled up the stairs as I was putting on my shirt. "Yeah I'm coming!" I yelled down the stairs while grabbing my shoes and run down the stairs "Hey bud how's it going?" Dad asks as I sit on the couch and put on my shoes. "Okay I guess why?" I say as I tie my shoes "Well I know that this week will be hard on you so if you need to you can always come to me okay bud?" Dad says "okay? Thanks I guess.." I say and run my hand through my hair "Asher don't be too hard on him okay?" Mom said. I sigh "Mom just drop it okay I don't want to go through you fighting again okay it's enough with everything going on right now."

I said and they just look at each other and back at me and nod "well kiddo you better get going with your mom after all my week is over'' Dad said with slight smile and sits up "Yeah time to visit the grandparents'' I say standing up and roll my eyes "Look im sorry but you have to I know you hate acting like a girl but you have to or they might catch on." mom said looking at me "Emily why cant he tell them you told them you were bisexual why Alec tell them about him being trans?" Dad said sitting up "Because he can't they won't have him as a grandson." Mom said almost yelling "Guys! Stop fighting please." I say standing up "right sorry Alec" Dad hugged me and I hug back.

"Sorry Alec lets go" Mom says walking toward the door. I let go of dad and walked out with mom. We were silent until we got in the car. "So Alec, what should we get to eat? There's pizza,burgers,tacos, what do you want?" Mom asks looking out her window. "I'm not hungry right now mom." I say back and lean on the window "Oh ok then let's just go straight to your grandparents then ok?" Mom said. I sigh "I guess.." I say "Look I know you hate it but you have to see them every once in a while ok? After this we can go to the movie's or get ice cream ok?" mom said "Whatever" I say "Let's hope this goes by fast" mom says.

The rest of the ride had small talk every now and again but nothing too serious then we got to my grandparents house, let's just say they had money and by money I mean a lot of it. I myself think that money doesn't matter much. "Okay let's just get this over with" Mom says opening the door and I open mine "agreed" I say walking up to the door mom knocks when we get there "Hello there come in please." Megan says. Me and mom walk in "Wow mom this place is so clean" mom says walking toward the dining hall "We pay our maids good money to clean" William says walking in. "Oh hello there sweetie" William says walking up to me. "Hey" I say "what have you done to your hair you look like a boy" Megan says walking up to me. "Oh my you're right, why did you do that?" William asked
