Chapter four

Once the ambulance got here they put them on a stretcher and kept asking me questions. "Sir what is your name?" A policeman asked me "A-alec" I say seeing them putting luca in the ambulance. "Hey look at-'' He started but I cut him off. "Let me go with Luka please" I said and he just nodded letting me run up and ride with them. Halfway to the hospital They got Luka's heart to beat again and I smiled slightly when they told me and I grabbed their hand.

Once we got to the hospital Luca's parents were there and the doctors took Luka. "I'm so sorry I couldn't get there in time I.." I started but Haylee hugged me. "Hey at least you got there when you did..And I am thankful for that." Mason said as Haylee let go. I was speechless then my mom came running in. "Are they okay? Are you okay?" mom asked, looking at me and at Haylee and Mason. "I'm okay mom.." I said and she hugged me. "If it wasn't for Alec here Luka would have died already.." Haylee said And mom let go. "You saved them" She asked and I nodded and he smiled. "I'm so proud of you Alec" Se said and I smiled.

About an hour later the doctor came out and asked for Luka's Parents. They walked in and 30 minutes later they told me I went in. I ran in the room and looked at Luka who was asleep. I smiled knowing they were alive. I walked up to them and kissed there cheek and slowly lifted my head and saw them open their eyes and smile. "Luka.." I whispered and they leaned up. "Be careful Luka" I said and they just nodded then said "Thank you for showing up Alec.." I smiled and they closed their eyes. I walked out after a couple minutes. "Mom, can we go home..?" I asked and mom just nodded.

In the car ride home me and mom started talking. "Can I take some time off of school..?" I asked "As long as you need buddie..I'll explain it to the principal as well.." She said and I looked out the window. "Thank you mom" I said "For what?" he asked "For being there when I need you" I said and I saw her smile. Once we got home I went up to my room and took a shower because I had blood on me while mom cleaned my hoodie. After my shower I put on one of Luka's hoodies that they had left here and layed down when I heard a ding from my laptop.
