"I felt like I needed a change that's all Grandpa" I say "yeah anyway can we sit down I'm starving" Mom says "Of Course Emily dear" William says and we all sit at the table "How is school going Alice" Megan asks and I freeze for a second "G-good grandma" I say "Is something bothering you?" Megan asks and my mom looks up and stares at me "Yes of course I just had something stuck in my throat that's all.." I lie "They have all A's, a very smart kid if I may say." Mom Says eating some more of her soup "Straight A's? That's my girl." William says and I stay quiet "Are you still in dance Alice?" Megan says "No, I quit last year." I say and look at my mom "Because she is more into writing so I signed her up for a english class." Mom says looking back at me "Yeah that's it" I say "When can I read one of your stories? I would love to" William says and I think for a moment "Well I'm not done yet but when I finish sure" I say "Are you feeling okay? you haven't eaten much of your soup" Megan says

"Yes I'm alright just thinking that's all.." I say glancing at my mom and she sighs "Actually I want to say something" My mom says " Yes Emily go ahead" William says "Alice is- well was as you know a twin.." Mom started and I froze. "Ah yes Alex the dear girl such a shame.." Megan said and I looked at the ground. "Well Alex's Death day is coming up this week as you know and I was wondering if Alice could have a phone on the line so if something happens like she gets taken we can contact her..?" Mom says "Oh Of Course we wouldn't want something like that happening again now would we?" William says "Y-yeah it's on wednesday.." I say leaning back it was a Saturday when it happened....

One year ago...
"Mom, can we please go out? We'll be safe, I promise we just want to have some sibling time" Alex said "Please mom? We will come back if something happens." I said "Fine but you better be and only for two hours." Mom said "Thank you" I said "love you mom,dad" Me and Alex yelled and ran out the door we ran to the creek once we got there we sit down "How do you do it alex?" I ask "Do what?" Alex asks "How do you be so girly? Be a girl?" I ask "Well I just do, I am a girl. But you? You're my brother through and through and I love you" She hugged me and I hugged back "I'm so glad you see me as your brother" I said "Well duh what would I see you as a sister? Yeah no you have never been a girl I'm your twin i can tell." she said and let's go "Thank you Alex..I love you" I said smiling "Love you to Alec" She said "Alec?" I ask "well yeah you need a boy name so I thought Alec fits you the best ya know and it means defending men to cool right?" She said "Alec yeah that's cool thanks Alex thank you I love it" I said and pulled out some scissors "now let's do what we came here to do." I said, handing her the scissors and she began to cut my hair. After cutting my hair we started to walk home and a car started to follow us. I noticed it before Alex "hey Alex that car has been following us for a while..." I said tapping her shoulder. "I guess you're right, let's just get home okay..?" She said and we walked a bit faster than the car stopped and two men got out and chased us. I screamed "MOM,DAD!" I yelled and grabbed Alex's hand. Mom heard us and ran outside to see me knocked out and Alex's being taken yelling and crying for me to wake up.Mom chased after them and my dad ran outside to help me.
