I try really hard with it so I might be doing a sequel after this so don't think this is the last of Opal and her parents ;) Constructive criticism will be much appreciated, but no bad comments please :) Just a shout out to Louise, Justina and Alisha (violetastrid) my three friends for helping me and giving me ideas to put in this story, it would be nothing without them. Chapter 4

Wednesday 25th March 2016

7:45 am

Dear Diary,

OMG, it's so early, what time is it?

I glance at my clock, my vision blurry.

What the hell, it's 7:45?!

I've literally got 45 minutes to get ready!

Mom's so gonna kill me.

I don't even know how I slept so late, I went to bed at like half past nine.

(For me, that's super early compared to the time I normally go to bed)

I better get ready, I wonder why Mom hasn't woken me up, she normally would if it's this late.

Anyway, no time for thinking gotta get ready

Sorry this had to be short diary, haven't got time

Hey, so just finished getting ready, in record time too. This is the fastest I've got ready. I actually found out the reason mom didn't wake me up.

It was because she was asleep herself!

Must be tired from all the shouting she does, not surprised if it's true.

Just waiting for Avalon to get here, she is never here on time.

(I'm always the one who's never ready, yeah, like that's right)

By the way, I was being sarcastic if you didn't notice, just to point that out.

But anyway, onto Aaron, I know you're probably sick of hearing his name now, but I just can't get him out my head. I wonder how today is gonna go, like if he is gonna ditch me or stay with me. He'll probably have his own group of friends by today and say to me.

"You know Opal, I was only using you. Do you really think I'd wanna be friends with someone like you"

That's what happens every time I meet someone new, they ditch me after they've found their friends. The only truly loyal friend I have is Avalon and we've been friends since Primary school. I do have other friends, it's just Avalon is the one I can trust with anything. What am I saying? Aaron's not like that, I'm just being paranoid.
