Chapter 38: Comforting support and marx's advice.

-Narration-

Max knew that there's nothing to be nervous about considering that ludwig, morton, and roy took it rather well, which gave him the confidence to not second guess himself. "Alrighty...here goes nothing." Max says, before heading to the back deck once he opened the door. He saw that it's currently partly cloudy and slightly windy, and their pool is currently being occupied by most of the koopalings and junior, except for wendy who's currently sitting on a chair, and taking selfies. "Wow, holy shit! Hey guys, max took the bandages off and he's wearing new shades!" Came the voice of mike who was caught completely off guard once he saw max.

-Mike pov-

Seeing max without those bandages shows me that he's far from being any ordinary koopa. I heard that roy got him some shades after lemmy convinced him to after annoying him about it. But, judging from roy's aura...i have the feeling that it's for a personal reason. As for that scar on max's body? As painful as it looked when fawful hit him, it doesn't look all that bad now that it's healed up.

-Narration-

"Woah, he did?" Larry says, who just got out of the pool. "This i gotta see!" Junior says, who instantly became curious. "I-" Wendy began to say, before taking one look at max and began to get flustered. "O-Oh..wow." She said, hiding the fact that she was blushing slightly. "Yay! He's got roy's gift on!" Lemmy says with a giggle. "Woah, that scar!" Larry says, while max was taken aback. "It's not too bad, is it?" He asked. "It's no different than than my scars, max." Mike said with a chuckle.

-Wendy pov-

W-wow..who knew max would end up looking like this? Any girl would swoon over him! And yet..i can't help but think he's not really interested in that. I have always had a spot on gut feeling about these type of things, but i never openly call upon it unless it's about fashion. I..really need to stop blushing.

-Lemmy pov-

Yay! Max has them on! Now he and roy really are twins! Well..at least max doesn't like being a bully, so that part is good. And seeing max's scar doesn't look THAT bad. Although..i shudder to think what it looked like at first.

-Larry pov-

Damn, max looks like no other koopa i've seen before! Plus, that scar of his makes him look more like...i don't know, an action based movie star?

-Junior pov-

Woah, cool! That scar makes max look like a badass! I could say that i wish i had one, but after what max went though? Hell no to that! Plus, max's new shades look so cool on him. I bet it was lemmy's idea based on the fact that he's incredibly ecstatic about it.

-Max pov-

I was half expecting to see horrified expressions on everyone's faces...i reckon i was quickly proven wrong, especially since mike has scars on his body too. "You know...i think it's time for kamek to explain what he meant by  my body being unique, don't y'all agree?" I say. I waited for that explanation for a week now...i just gotta know!

-Narration-

"Yeah, i wanna know too! Where is he?" Larry blurts out, who, besides max, was the most eager to know. "He'll be here tomorrow." They all hear bowser say, who looks down at them all, who had on a hawaiian shirt with flowers on it, but because it was a button up shirt, bowser didn't button it up allowing his muscle gut to hang out freely and also had on green shorts. "And i see you look different, kiddo." Bowser says to max with a chuckle while eyeing his scar.

-Bowser pov-

Wow...those new shades of his instantly make him look like his father...the same can be said of roy, though i can't believe it took me 17 years to realize it. This will be harder to explain to roy. As for that scar on max's chest...it's an instant reminder of fawful, and i would be burning him to a crisp if he hadn't had that heart attack...hm...what a shame.
