"Oh my god, Max it's beautiful"

Rosalind stood infront of her mirror with a bright smile on her face, looking at the gorgeous dress Max had gotten her through the reflection.

Tonight was the Yule ball and her, Maximus and Hermione were all in her dorm getting ready. Maximus had finally let her see the dress she was going to wear and she was stunned at how lovely it was. It was perfect for her, it was long and full of tule and lace, the prettiest shade of midnight black with long sleeves that had her sighing in relief as her arms wouldn't be on show. Maximus had out done himself.

Her hair and makeup were done to perfection by the one and only; herself. Her hair was pinned back with beautiful silver clips that held sapphire gem stones, curtesy of her girlfriend who had gotten them for her, said it matched her hair. And her makeup was kept almost the same, a bold black lip and eyeliner, however she added a blue tinted shadow on her eye to bring the theme of back and blue all together.

"You look so pretty Rosalind!" Hermione exclaimed, walking up to her and twirling the older girl around playfully making her giggle. She felt beautiful, like a princess. Sure she had gone to balls before and wore pretty dresses but they never suited her and she never had fun at any of them. This was different.

"Me? Look at your little miss gorgeous" hermione blushed at the compliment and smiled shyly. She wore a gorgeous dress made of a floaty periwinkle blue material and her usual bushy hair had been managed to be sleeked back into an elegant knot at the back of her head, all thanks to Rosalind who happened to be amazing in the hair and makeup department.

Maximus wore formal black dress robes however his vest underneath was a stunning silver with glittering stars stitched into it. His hair was slicked back formally and he even asked Rosalind to add some sparkly eyeshadow in the corners of his eyes. He felt hot.

"Look at us, the three champions prized possessions" Rosalind took her friends under her arms and they all looked at themselves in the mirror. Not to toot their own horns but they did look like a rather good looking trio.
